Lovely cabin in a great location near Portal, AZ, where great bonding locations are found. Rhonda and her husband has great bird feeders right in front of the cabin terrasse. Got several new birds without leaving the premisses. Very clean and nice homy place which greatly exceeded our expectations.

Our stay at Valley Vista Getaway was fantastic. If you’re looking to experience life in the New Mexico desert you must book a visit here now. We enjoyed just watching the birds from the front porch. And a trip to Cave Creek Canyon is a must. John and Cathy were the friendliest and most helpful hosts we have ever encountered. John spent a couple hours with us one night hosting a Star Party - looking at planets, stars, and galaxies though his impressive telescope. We’re already thinking about how we can arrange another visit in the future.

Green Witch was a wonderful retreat. It exceeded all our expectations. We were visiting Portal to go birding in the mountains and this home was the perfect base camp. There is an outdoor enclosed cubicle for astronomy which was also a perfect bird blind.

The Cowboy Cabin is a beautiful, quiet place. It's so cutely decorated and very well maintained. The landscaping is beautiful, with a variety of birds and a dark sky. We had everything we needed for a great stay on our bike ride. Though bikes are not allowed in the rooms, Dan showed us where to park the bike for the night and it was very convenient. We would definitely book with Dan again in the future.
