Beautiful remote location and the Cottage has a great mix of rustic with good quality appliances. Everything ran smoothly to finding the cottage, getting in and the general running of the house. You couldn't ask for a better host, friendly and responsive to any query you may have. I already know Carnaween Cottage will forever be fondly remembered and we want to go back every year. My husband and I had a wonderful stay here for our anniversary, being able to bring our pup along made it even better! The house is sat in the most beautiful countryside, with well maintained fenced in gardens that our dog loved zooming about! The house was spotless and we felt at home right away! This is an exceptional house. It is tastefully decorated with beautiful furniture and decor. It well equipped and is situated in beautiful countryside not far from Donegal Town. A lovely stove has been put in since the photos were taken. I would highly recommend bringing some good walking shoes and a camera. I will be going back.
