Vacation rentals with beach access in Roccella Ionica

My wife and I vacationed in Italy for 6 weeks. For our last 2 weeks we stayed in Tropea. We were not disappointed! Giulio's apartment was spacious and very clean. The bed is comfortable. The place is right in the town with lots of restaurants and shops. The beach is less than a 10 minute walk. The beach is amazing. The water is crystal clear. We swam everyday. The apartment is a 10 minute walk from the train station, so if you're not traveling by car it is very convenient to do day trips to other towns like Pizzo or Scilla (which we did!) When we arrived in Tropea we were met at the apartment by a young man who got us into the apartment and showed us how everything works and answered all our questions. Giulio is a wonderful host! He was always immediately responsive and gave many recommendations. Tropea is a lovely coastal town! We walked everywhere as we explored the town and the locals are very friendly. We would love to return and rent Giulio's place again!!

Andrea is a wonderful host! She takes great care of Nina's house and her guests. Any of our issues or difficulties were resolved immediately. We didn't know there was no public transport in Santa Catarina and Andrea himself offered to pick us up from the train station. This is more than we expected! The apartment is very tidy, spacious, comfortable to spend a whole day in it when you don't want to go for a walk. There is a patio with a grill. You're free to help Andrea if you need it. The internet, as Andrea provided, works perfectly, and you can work remotely. The sea in May is still cold, but you can spend many hours on the beach, sunbathing and relaxing - to the beach from Andrea's house you have 50 meters in a straight line. Fairytale!!! Wonderful place, wonderful time. We'll be back for sure! We highly recommend this place

This was our first trip to this area and we hope to return. The location of Angelo’s place was an excellent base to explore the area. We enjoyed the beach below and did some snorkelling with lots of fish. We did not require much from Angelo while there but when we did he responded promptly and was very friendly. We would highly recommend Angelo’s place!

The flat is lovely and has everything one might need. It is just a short walk away from the beach/sea, center of town and supermarket. Francesco was a lovely host, very accommodating and gave us great recommendations- would highly recommend il convivio! Would definitely stay there again!

If you are in Tropea this is a great option! The apartment is big, the kitchen is also big (not easy to find in Italy), the bathrooms are clean and comfortable…in short, the apartment is very nice! Also it has private parking which is always the best choice if you have a car. The hosts are also amazing! Always responsive, always quick to clear any questions or give you any recommendations. Dont overthink it. This apartment has it all!

Great location, right by the beach and a 7-minute walk to the center. Everything was very clean. Check-in was straightforward. We would book this apartment again.

Beautifully clean, quiet and delightful sea breezes in the beach front. Weather wasn’t so good but the ever changing colours of the sea was magic! Restaurants nearby are fantastic too!

Antonella's residence has all the comforts possible and is a short walk from the sea. We found it in perfect condition and spent 8 days of true relaxation. A particularly positive dimension for a family with a small child. We felt right at home.

The apartment is very well located in the heart of Tropea’s old town, with the most beautiful sea-view. There are several very good restaurants nearby. It was quite hot and there was only one fan. Would have been nice to have had a second one, especially at night. Other than that, we can highly recommend this spacious and very well equipped apartment. Massimo was more than helpful with everything. He gave us many good recommendations where to eat, grocery shopping, etc.

+ Everything is good and Franco is a very good host + He is always available and very helpful + Franco shows you the area. - The fridge is a bit noisy. - There is no real kitchen.

The apartment was well laid out and very clean. The host was also very nice. Moreover, he even let us check in at 12:30 p.m.

Andrea's house is beautifully located by the sea, with direct access to the beach. You have an unobstructed view of the sea, Stromboli on the horizon and a sunset every evening. The furnishings are simple, as is often the case in Italy, but clean and tidy. The surroundings are already very quiet in October, every now and then a cat sneaks by, you are completely undisturbed and can enjoy the holidays. The house has a garage parking space, just a few steps away. A bar and a few restaurants can be reached on foot in about 5 minutes. Pippo, Andrea's father, takes care of all local matters very lovingly, be it a question about the surroundings, where you can get something, something doesn't work or just a chat about the weather. He is always available and happy to help. Highly recommended.

Salvatore is at the top, he welcomed us very warmly, he recommended nearby restaurants as well as beaches and viewpoints, the accommodation is impeccable small quiet residence with swimming pool and sunbathing. Frankly impeccable, I'm really satisfied. Thanks again and see you soon!

Such a wonderful location with stunning views away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to get to Tropea by car. Parghelia itself is a charming little town with restaurants and small shops to get what you need. The pool and grounds were perfectly looked after and the apartment was comfortable with everything we needed to look after ourselves. Outdoor private area and terrace were just perfect. We loved i and would love to come again....

We spent the Christmas holidays in Giulia's precious apartment. Beautiful, cozy, bright and equipped with everything you need to spend even a few days. Very close to all the sights of the area such as Capo Vaticano, Zambrone and Vibo Valentia and above all with a guaranteed sea view. Giulie was a super responsive and available host. She's certainly The place I would definitely go back in the summer. I literally loved this place, a very comfortable bed and a well-served area. Thanks again Giulia❤️

The view from the balcony was wonderful! The pictures of this apartment don’t do it justice. The balcony was big enough for two to enjoy coffee or wine. Really felt like a local but had enough restaurants around. Everything was walkable up and down hill. The apartment was not so big, but very comfortable for two. Can’t say much about how the kitchen worked, because who wants to cook when so much Italian food is at your doorstep? However, we were there the day many things closed down at the beginning of November. Still, we found good places to eat. Would recommend this apartment.

A beautiful place away from the hustle and bustle of the city. There is a piece of garden at guests' disposal. The home is clean and well-maintained. Beautiful beaches nearby. Domenico is always helpful and communicative. We recommend it for guests with a car who are looking for peace and relaxation.

Our Little piece of Paradise in Pizzo! This apartment had it all and was so adorable. We were unlucky with the weather in Pizzo with lots of rain but wow did we love our apartment! The gas fireplace saved the day / days for us. It made our time there super cozy and comfortable. The view on one of the sunny days was beautiful. The apartment was perfect for the three of us traveling and my mom of 81 was even able to get around just fine. Super clean, new and cozy. Great stay all around. And our hosts were great! Thank you

The apartment is located in the best stretch of the promenade, it is well structured, organized and equipped as a house in which to live all year round. We were very well received by Giovanni and his family, always attentive to meet our requests and provide us with useful tips on the stay. We enjoyed Brancaleone, a very quiet village with a beautiful sea and an archaeological site ("Brancaleone vetus") that is worth visiting, along with the residence of Cesare Pavese and the sea turtle recovery center. For the rest, you can expand your exploration to the historic center of Bova, the enchanting Gerace, the beach of natural pools in Africo (where the advice is to bring a mask to enjoy the beautiful view of the seabed), and go as far as Siderno to find a more organized promenade. Sites that help you discover an unprecedented Calabria full of natural wonders. Thanks for the welcome :)
