This might have been the best equipped AirBnB we’ve ever stayed in . Every detail thought of from local maps and books to generous and delicious breakfast. Wonderful peaceful location beautiful views tucked between church and pub in idyllic village. Will stay again

Neither James nor the house can take responsibility for the weather, but what we had was unendingly spectacular. 7 straight days of sunshine while, apparently, it rained in Spain. This is VERY unusual for the area, but really made the moore and farmland surrounding the cottage shine. Even if it had rained and been blustery, the cottage is fitted with an excellent heating system and a wood fire in the living room. Hotwater for the kitchen and bathrooms is prompt and plentiful. Recently renovated with good (rather than cheap) furniture choices made, the house is in great shape. The kitchen was well stocked and while the oven was a bit mysterious to operate, everything worked well. Pastoral by day, truly dark sky by night, and a strong selection of both gastro-pubs and wonderful footpaths on which to reach them right out the door from the property.

We had an amazing stay for 3 nights at the Granary with our kids. We got a warm welcome from the lovely cat couscous! The place was clean, spacious, tidy and had everything that we needed for a comfortable stay. There were enough of board games, books and toys as well as outdoor space to keep the kids entertained. The hosts Karl and Helena were very friendly and helpful. Their son was also very kind and friendly with our kids, even sharing some of his stuff to play. This quiet location was ideal for us to explore north Devon and the Exmoor areas. Overall it was a very pleasant experience, highly recommended.

We had a wonderful 3-night stay at Kennel Croft. The property was perfect for the two of us and our dog. Check-in was really easy, and we were welcomed with tea and scones, which went down a treat! The place was spotless and had everything we needed. The garden was beautiful and fully secure for our dog, and the views from the property were amazing. Tanya was really friendly and responsive to any questions we had. Thank you for a lovely stay!
