Great ground floor studio apartment in an ideal location; close to the town centre, ferry terminal and just off the A859, with ample off street parking. Had everything we were hoping for with plenty of cooking utensils, a full-sized cafetière, separate washing machine & tumble dryer and a small garden at the rear. Comfortable bed and two bathrooms (one with a shower) - just to note the mirror/wash basin & shower head are a bit low for anyone over 5'5", but this was the only negative point. It was a very nice surprise to find that bread, cereals, fruit, tunnocks and also chocolates were left for us and there were also lots of toiletries and very soft towels. Small TV but good wifi. Definitely recommended.

This cottage was immaculate! The views are amazing, the house is so homely and comfortable, and we loved Scalpay itself. All the rooms were so clean and fresh, the kitchen was well equipped and a note with lots of local goodies was waiting on arrival, including something for our dogs!! The whole cottage was very comfortable, and there were loads of games for if the weather turns. We were lucky and spent every evening on the decking to the side of the property enjoying the views. If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful holiday with plenty bird spotting and fishing, this is the place for you - absolute heaven.

For a cottage for two, really spacious, well equipped and comfortable. However the outstanding feature is the view inside and out, with a sea view over Scalpay and South Harris. Great watching the sea and the ever changing weather. Only overlooked by a few sheap over the garden fence! We had a great time exploring spectacular Harris and Lewis and look forward to returning. No hesitation in recommending.
