Very nice room with a great location in Cologne-Nippes. Everything you need is within walking distance and the city center is also very easily accessible. Check-in as well as communication with our host was very accommodating and spotless! Shortly after booking, received very easy to understand instructions for checking in and staying in the apartment. Questions were answered in no time!

Quiet, private place on the lake. The weather did not allow for a swimming pool. Spacious loft for 8 people. But without a car, logistics will be difficult. The owner and staff are very friendly, and quickly solve emerging needs while staying.

A beautiful apartment in a great location. The pictures showcase the property with honesty. The house is charming with great touches. With it being older and compact the coming and going of neighbours can be noisy due to the wooden floors. Which may be a deterrent for a light sleeper. The ladder to the bed is quite steep, so also bear in mind if you are wary of heights. Bedding (across Germany) needs improvement with a better standard of pillows and filling. Getting to the rooms requires a few trips if you have a lot of luggage. Other than these concerns, overall a great stay for solo travel and would book again!

We had such a pleasant stay her at Overath, the property looked exactly like it did on the pictures, it was lovely and clean and nice and quite, Robby was very helpful with the directions on how to get in and access the property, love there was a space for my car away from the road and where I see it. Overall was a very lovely place and would definitely stay here again.

We felt very comfortable with Michael, the house is very nice and spacious, we didn't miss anything, everything is as in the photos. We especially enjoyed the terrace and garden. An unexpected extra plus were the two large hobbyhorses that our 5-year-old daughter was busy with all weekend! :-D There are also plenty of games, the table tennis table was another great surprise. We enjoyed the time very much and are already thinking about when we can come back!

We had a nice stay at this apartment. We expected a little more view from the cottage based on the photos. You have no view from the cottage, but it is wonderfully quiet. In addition to the apartment, there is a private terrace where you can use a fire bowl. For us with two of us, this was a nice place to be, with several nice locations within 45 min travel distance (Cologne, national park). Host Christian was super friendly, very pleasant to be around and very helpful and hospitable. In short, a nice well cared for BnB!
