"I had a wonderful stay at Alex's place! The decor was lovely, and the space was spotless, which made for a very comfortable experience. I especially loved the ukulele—such a fun touch! Although the place is located at the back of the house, it still felt very private and peaceful—felt like I was a mile away from everything! The trip was quick and easy, and I wouldn't hesitate to book again in the future. A bonus was the helpful recommendations Alex provided for things to do in the area—definitely enhanced my visit.

Simply the best hosts and property you could ask for. Barbara and Lindsay are truely generous and kind and the property is amazing and well looked after. They accommodated any requests we had prior and during our stay and we made some lifelong memories! Thank you Barbara and Lindsay (and Tim!) Josh + Maddy ❤️

Perfect location to escape the city rush. We loved the animals and breakfast that waited in the fridge! 100% would recommend and visit again.☺️

The Shack was delightful. Had all necessary home items. Compostable toilet worked well, no bad smells at all. Was weird not having to flush... Large enclosed back yard for pets, which was great. Close to town, Redwood Forest, La la falls & other sights. Very peaceful & relaxing.
