We had a fantastic stay and are happy to give this property a 5-star review. The house was incredibly spacious, peaceful, and spotlessly clean. Jackie, the owner, has thought of absolutely everything—from toiletries and books to spare pillows and even a guest Netflix account—which made our stay so comfortable and easy. The lovely food hamper on arrival was a wonderful touch, and the beds were very comfortable too. We used the property while our own home was being renovated nearby and it was perfect for us. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to family and friends when they come to visit!

Highly recommended, Carol's place is close to perfect. Very clean, tidy, well equipped (4 TVs!) and with a very generous selection of "consumables" (ranging from Prosecco and beer to toiletries). Our only negative comment regarded the bedroom blinds, but Carol has assured me that these are currently being replaced with black-out versions. The property is in a quiet residential area away from the bustle of central York and with 2 parking spaces. It is of recent construction and well decorated. The living/dining area would be a little compact for a long stay but good for a few days. Good shower in the bathroom, downstairs toilet and 3 double bedrooms mean decent space for 6. The star attraction, particularly if the weather is dodgy, is the games room, with full-size pool table, jukebox, retro games arcade machine and a pile of CDs. Also a covered outside seating area. A 5 star stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Anna’s place! It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing visit. Anna was a fantastic host, making sure we felt right at home. The neighbours were a little loud in the evenings, and we could occasionally hear their TV through the walls, but it didn’t take away from how much we enjoyed our stay. Overall, it was a great experience and we would happily stay again!
