Monthly Rentals in Raphine

Melody’s Little Cabin in the Woods was exactly what my wife and I were looking for to disconnect from technology(although fast wifi was available) and reconnect with each other, and nature. We chose Melody’s accommodations because of its proximity to Big Spring Farm, and the seclusiveness of the property itself. My wife and I love the outdoors and hiking, so having some great walkable paths right outside the cabin, made for great peaceful mornings. The cabin itself was exactly as you’d expect an 1800’s cabin to feel, with the addition of the basic modern luxuries most would hope to have on a vacation. We will definitely be booking again in the future! Thank you!

The perfect place to relax and have fun! And perfect for a little father gathering too. We are all outdoorsy people so we had a blast exploring the property. The pond and the creek were awesome! The cabin itself is so cozy and beautifully constructed. Zero complaints. We will definitely be back!

What a wonderful place to stay! Waking up in the morning, on a comfortable bed, and getting to sit in the sun room with the amazing views of the farm while having a cup of coffee was so so so relaxing. We honestly wanted to stay longer! I would love to go stay a week there to just relax and get away. Jean’s place had all that you needed to be very comfortable and well taken care of. We loved visiting with the goats and Ursa the great pyrenees. Jean’s local recommendations were so welcomed and were some of the best things we did while in the area, from the local mill with the apple butter festival, to the blue ridge parkway which is only about 10-15 mins away. We also took her recommendation to go to crab tree falls, which was a very lovely waterfall hike, one of the best we have ever been to. We hope to be back someday to enjoy their place again, as it surely helped us to make memories we will not soon forget.

We loved our stay at Creekside Cabin! Alicia was great from start to finish. The cabin was so clean and cozy. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals, there were plenty of games to play/books to read, and comfy beds to sleep in. The property is private and serene and the wrap around porch is the perfect place to get some sun and enjoy the sound of the Creek. Would love to return in the future!
