Places to stay in Purvis

Audrey and her husband were awesome hosts! I was not sure how long we needed to stay and when our reservation ran out we were able to stay without any interuption until we were able to close on our home. They allowed us to park our Uhaul on site (a big deal!) which saved us time trying to find storage. The day after we arrived, they came over to meet us and tell us about the area. The cottage was clean, equipped and safe. The antique furnishings in the cottage are fabulous...i cant imagine the stories they have to tell! The wildlife is abundant along with the farm life; cattle, geese, chickens, cats, fish, etc. You'll never have a dull moment at the Ranch Hand Cottage! We were blessed to have 2 new calfs born while we were there. If you want to get out of the city or share the country with your city friends, this is THE place! Poplarville is such a cute town, like a step back in time. I will be recommending Audrey and her cottage to anyone that wants to stay in the area.

We had an awesome stay in Hattiesburg! The place was the perfect size and felt like home.

We’ve stayed with Paulette multiple times and will keep coming back. Very kind, friendly and responsive host. The cottage is extremely peaceful and relaxing with excellent views and walking paths for our pup. Thank you again Paulette and we’ll see you again in the near future!

We've stayed in quite a few Air B and B's before!!! This one was by far THE ABSOLUTE BEST!! Normally my wife would have to use her own cleaning supplies and spruce up the place, but NOT this time!!! We always bring Airwick plug ins!!! They were not needed this time!!! They were some already inside this home!!! It smelled so clean and fresh!!! This home was very welcoming and warm!!! Actually it reminded us of our home in Georgia! We were very pleased with everything!! We told all our family and friends about this place!!! Great job guys!!! This will Always be our go to place whenever we come back to visit family and friends in Mississippi!!!

Nice convenient place to stay especially if traveling for work.

We stayed here to escape Hurricane Helene. Daphnie was responsive, kind, and treated us like family. The house is so beautiful and filled with an older, historic charm. We LOVED the sun room and cozy atmosphere.

Joel was an amazing host and the space was beautiful and well thought out. I appreciate the chocolates and little things like hair ties and ear plugs. We only stayed one night but will definitely stay again when we come back to Hattiesburg!

Location, location, location! This is my second time staying here, and I wouldn't be surprised if my last review started off the same way :) Walking distance to the Zoo, Dollar General, Shipley's Donuts and Keg & Barrel. We rented both side A and B (my parents stayed in A and we were in B). A is much more updated and nicer. If I was rating them individually I'd have rated B as a 4 and A as a 5. W-iFi has taken a big hit since we were last here. No signal in the bedrooms and the signal was even week in the living rooms. The TVs are streamers, which worked well 3 years ago, but was only sometimes usable this time.
