The apartment is based at the 3rd floor (no elevator) of an antique Tuscan building: the sealing in wood and the stone walls are all authentic! You'll find a very cosy and unique atmosphere made by the care for details and love for my home. En-joy it! The apartment has been detailed designed and renovated taking care of original stone walls from XVI sec, original marblekitchen sink, wood ceiling, parquet floor. The new balcony (with the view on the old tower) makes special every moment of the day surrounding by seasonal flowers and strawberry: enjoy at breakfast or for an aperitivo tasting a glass of Chianti wine or watching the full moon in the night. The little town of Pistoia surprises with its discreet charm enclosed in alleys and squares decorated with historical monuments and palaces, testimony of an ancient artistic past. On the ground floor of the house where I live with my family, in the green of the Tuscan countryside among vineyards and olive trees, on the slopes of the Apennines, in a strategic position for those who by car, want to discover the beautiful Tuscany and stay in a quiet place five minutes from the city center, but away from the noise of the city, because here reigns the typical quiet of this place. The apartment is a self-contained section of the farmhouse, with its own entrance and all the necessary amenities. It is located in a rural area, surrounded by woods and hills, and offers a relaxing atmosphere in close contact with nature. The road to get there is a bit winding, but it's worth it! It is common to encounter insects and other animals typical of the countryside. If you are allergic to any insects or afraid of them, this might not be the right place for you. 6 km from the center of Pistoia

Ancient farmhouse with garden

The house, which dates back to around 1600, has been perfectly restored. Its very thick stone walls ensure that the temperature is optimal in winter and summer. In addition to the charm of the old house, it has the advantage of being located on the hill closest to the city center, Pistoia. For this reason, you can admire the view of the city from above. The historic center is only 3 km away. My house is therefore a great starting point for visiting nearby cities such as Prato, Florence and Lucca.

A short distance from the farmhouse, reachable with a hiking walk, Montecatini Alto, a medieval village with ancient charm. The thermal baths of Montecatini and Monsummano are about a 10-minute drive. The location is also strategic for visiting the main Tuscan cities: Florence, Pisa, Lucca, Siena.
