Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Powhatan County

Very nice house in a good location 20 or so min. outside of Richmond, VA. House was clean and exactly as described.

This place is immaculate and has everything you need. Comfortable beds, wonderful sheets, great towels, and a well stocked kitchen. Everything is new and fresh as the picture show. And the best part is how wonderful the host is. You won’t go wrong staying here.

My friends and I were very impressed with the Airbnb! It was very clean and spacious. My only things worth noting are that the flatscreen tv cannot connect with the DVD players as it runs off of HDMI, as well as the fact that I couldn't find more toilet paper for one of the bathrooms. Other than that, the host was very helpful and kind whenever I messaged them, and I recommend anyone staying at their place!

Fished a tournament out of Osbourne Landing which is 10 minutes from Janet's place. The place was perfect for 3 guys with boats. The place was clean, and Janet was very good to communicate with. Will stay again if we come back to fish.

Home was quiet and tucked away from commercial areas, but close enough to all amenities! Alex was helpful and always very quick to respond. Great spot overall!

Our stay here was great! Everything we needed in the kitchen and throughout the house. We had a great trip to Richmond and the Airbnb was perfect for a weekend stay.

This was place was amazing to stay at! The house was as pictured, plenty of room/beds for our friend group, and awesome backyard with a pickleball court that’s in great condition! Frank was really responsive and such a nice host. There was even a box of donuts waiting for us as we checked in which were so delicious! (Thanks Frank!) The only thing I’d say could have been improved is that the outside grill area was not very clean (broken glass bottles, multiple dead lighters, rust build up on the grill cover, etc.) but everywhere else in the backyard was nice and tidy. Also, it’s entirely alley/street parking which got a little rough with needing to park a few cars from our group. Overall this place is definitely worth it!! And it was so close to everything we wanted to go to. Would definitely recommend this place to any big group wanting to experience the Richmond area.

Stayed here with a small group of friends to attend a concert. The place is spacious and comfortable and there was plenty of room for everyone. The back patio was also spacious and nice. Despite being centrally located and close to everything, it wasn't noisy and disruptive outside. Very walkable to just about everything including the bus system that goes east/west on Broad which is very convenient. Highly recommend.

Kendall’s place was the perfect little spot for our night in town. We will definitely stay here again next time.

Christine’s place was just as described. We loved the peacefulness of the neighborhood and easy access to nearby restaurants and coffee shops, all the light coming in from the windows, and the extra amenities (e.g. access to Apple TV, kettle/ tea, and nespresso machine/ nespresso pods, amongst other things). It was also incredibly clean. We’d love to stay again if we come back to Richmond.

Great communication, and extremely friendly host. Wonderful place to stay, we felt very fortunate to find this gem.

Great cozy space for a weekend trip! My friends and I went to Busch gardens for the weekend and wanted a quiet yet affordable and reasonably close location for the park. Casey was very attentive with our questions about getting in (it was all operator error aka me 😳😳) and any other inquires about our stay. The location is on a quiet street with an amazing coffee shop that is directly behind the Airbnb. We will definitely be back!! Casey also offered dish soap, hand soap, detergents, an extra toothbrush and toothpaste, along with a few more things in case they were forgotten.

Such great hosts! Their space is perfect for long stays, equipped with everything you could need. They are super responsive and were always so kind and helpful! Would love to stay again if I’m in the area.

Matt was super communicative! We had some small issues with the ice maker in the fridge, couldn’t get the appletv to work, and had some broken wheels on a piece of furniture, but host was super attentive to these needs even if a fix didn’t happen within the week. Overall this was a great stay, great location, and very safe

This place was WONDERFUL!!!! Clean, quiet, organized and comfortable. We had everything we needed for my husband and I to enjoy staying there in order to visit my extended family in Richmond. I was born and raised there but my left at age 23 though the rest of my family stayed in Richmond. The location at the airbnb was within walking distance of EVERYTHING!!! I would love to stay here from now on any time I am visiting family there....or even just to visit the VMFA as well as other places!

I stayed in this basement apartment for a month and a half while working downtown. The host was extremely friendly, showed me the space, communicated with me about packages and mail, and kept me informed of things to know about the house. I felt very safe in the house and the area. The linens and towels felt very new and clean, and the kitchen and bathroom were also cleanly. The bed was stiffer than I am used to, but I got used to it. There is not much natural light in the apartment since it is a basement unit, but I appreciated all of the lamps and light dimmers so that I did not have to use the overhead lighting. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would recommend this apartment to anyone.
