The East Wing Derwent House is a charming cottage, well appointed throughout, beautifully decorated with local artists’ paintings. A real treat. Beds are very comfortable, and kitchen very well equipped. The views into the fields are breathtaking. West Ayton is a lovely village with lots of local walks. ‘Walkers’ is worth visiting, it’s a delightful fish and chips restaurant just a minutes’ walk from the accommodation. Jennifer was very helpful and quick to respond to messages. We will certainly return - thank you for a wonderful break!

Lovely peaceful place for us to stay with our three dogs for New Year. A lovely setting with so much green space. Kate was a great host with local knowledge and recommendations. Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay.

We really enjoyed our stay and Sara's cottage is the perfect base for visiting Scarborough and the surrounding area. Sara greeted us and made us feel very welcome. The cottage has everything you need and the glassed well is a definite wow feature. We hope to return again in the future.
