We had a wonderful holiday. The apartment really had everything you could need. From utensils for the beach to the espresso cooker, we didn't miss anything. The apartment was tip top clean, it has a quiet and central location. Communication with Yvonne was always reliable from start to finish. She took care of everything. The next time we come to P.S., this is our first address. Thanks again for everything.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Lighthouse! A clean & spacious apartment with a sea-view / sun terrace which we made good use of. We didn't meet in Antonio in person but he was extremely responsive & helpful, always replying quickly to messages & providing useful information on island attractions. Although this was our third visit to Porto Santo, Antonio's help was invaluable in arranging a trip to Cima Island & the real lighthouse ... something we had been keen to do since our first visit! Highly recommended.

Beautiful apartment in very beautiful residence The accommodation is perfect: very bright and perfectly arranged. It's quiet, very quiet in a dead end street so very very few cars, only the inhabitants of the street circulate there. From the balcony, we have sun from morning to night and from the bedroom and kitchen, we can admire the sunrise and sunshine, superb! The sea view is simply divine. The kitchen is perfectly equipped: we cook a lot and it is a (rare) pleasure to have so much useful equipment. The room is very spacious and there is plenty of linens available. The bathroom has a shower tub which is comfortable when returning from hiking. There is ample storage space and plenty of space. It is very close to restaurants, bars, the beach without noise disturbances. The small town is quiet, the surroundings wild, in short, it was an unforgettable stay!

All quiet with our stay in Porto Santo. Micaela received us superbem. And it was very receptive. The location is very good, close to good restaurants and is in Centrinho de Porto Santo. Very well recommended!

Loved living here. We spent almost 2 months at the property. The apartment offers everything you expect from your vacation home. In the kitchen, you'll make your own treats that can be found just a 5-minute walk from the supermarket. You're close to everything, but still enough around the corner that you can enjoy peace and quiet. Communicating with Duarte worked flawlessly, in addition to being helpful so left with the feeling that he's really nice 🤗 We recommend this place to anyone who wants the hassle of a getaway. Much above the expectation it had initially, as it was a last-minute search. All services provided in an exemplary manner and with cleanliness and organization of a quality hotel unit. Support and effective service whenever requested. The location is excellent, always very close to all the necessary services for those who enjoy a vacation. Next to the (main) road surrounding the Island and a few 3m from the beach. Fantástica choice...I recommend it to those that likes a quiet vacation.

Excellent apartment very clean and the host was amazing !

Desert's apartment is very nice, we stayed there with family, 2 adults and 3 children, it is very well located halfway to the city center and the beach, the stay was very much appreciated by each of us. A quick tip if you stay for several days, it's not helpful to rent a vehicle, which is too high compared to the price of a taxi.

Duarte is an outstanding host—warm, considerate, and highly solution-oriented. He responds quickly to any questions and takes initiative to ensure everything runs smoothly. He has found the perfect balance between being attentive and allowing guests to enjoy their stay at their own pace. Now and then, he shared excellent tips on local activities, always in a way that felt natural and welcoming. If I could give more than five stars, I certainly would. Highly recommended!

The establishment boasts an advantageous location, conveniently situated within walking distance of grocery stores, restaurants, coffee shops, and the man-made sand beach. About half an hour drive to Funchal and near by hikes. However, if you prefer a home-cooked meal, as my mother-in-law does, the kitchen could benefit from being equipped with more modern pots, pans, bowls, plates, utensils, and other necessary cooking utensils. Dina was an exceptional hostess, effortlessly communicating with excellent English and displaying an exceptionally friendly demeanour.

I really like it It is necessary to keep in mind only the path that Google Maps gives us but once we know the right way, nothing to point out!

We had such a great time at Casa da Ávo 2! The house was cozy and super clean, and we had everything we needed. My husband turned into a total grill master out there, and the kids had a blast in the jacuzzi every day. The view was absolutely beautiful – ocean and mountains right outside, in a peaceful and lovely area. We met the owner – such a nice guy, and it was great knowing his family lived nearby in case we needed anything. There were grocery stores and restaurants close by, and it was only about a 30-minute drive to Funchal. All in all, an amazing trip – we had such a good time!
