The most beautiful place, all amenities in the appartment wrapped up in a cosy comfortable clean seaside themed vibe. Best nights sleep on a gorgeous king sized bed with luxurious fabrics. The helpful guide curated by the host was perfect - we were able to travel to Polperro, Fowey, Liskeard and Plymouth on local buses and train - never had to use the car during our stay. We went to pubs with roof top bars, coffee and crab sandwiches on the harbour and ended our week with a lovely meal at the Hannafore Point Hotel. But it was the view from the lounge and bedroom window that was the highlight - absolutely breathtaking especially watching the sun rise whilst sitting in bed with a cup of tea - so much so that we didn’t watch the tv because watching the view was so much better - like something out of a magical world. And that’s the overriding feeling we have and memories we treasure - a magical week in a magical place in the most magical setting - memories that will warm us on dreary days

Paul was an absolutely great host, could not fault anything! He was great from the get go. Our lads had a little incident locking themselves out the property and nothing was too much of an ask for our host. We have had trouble trying to find somewhere close to our job and this really saved the day! Thank you so much Paul,

Steve’s place was excellent. Everything was spotless and the location is very peaceful. It’s somewhere I would definitely recommend and hopefully will visit many more times. Thank you Steve for a peaceful,pleasant and tranquil place to stay.

Our first visit to Looe was made perfect by staying at Captain's Retreat. The apartment is beautifully presented and has the most spectacular views over the town and to the sea. We received a warm welcome from Martin and would not hesitate to recommend the property to anyone wanting a relaxing stay in Looe, especially with the off road parking directly in front of the entrance. Enjoyed eating at the Sardine Factory and also the traditional pasties from Sarah's Pasties in Buller St. Thanks to Jay and Martin for a great break.
