Bright, Airy and Cosy for a relaxing stay. Tarsgeir is an UPPER FLAT in a block of 4 ( 2 up - 2 down). Being located in Port Ellen gives you a fantastic starting point for most sightseeing to be done on Islay, whether by car, foot, bus or bike there is plenty to do and see. Just minutes to Ferry terminal, shops, restaurants, pubs and bus stops. The 'three distillery path' starts opposite 20 mtrs away, a nice walk not just for distilleries, also for wildlife, views and the Islay fresh air.

Kitchen diner-dishwasher, fridge, washing machine, multi-fuel stove; lounge with open fire and Freesat TV downstairs. The house is full of artwork, colourful & comfortable. Electric heating or real fires to suit guests. Unique position and very close to the ferry terminal. PLEASE NOTE THE PIPE ON THE BEACH HAS NOT BEEN USED FOR MANY YEARS FOR ITS ORIGINAL PURPOSE!!

We use the house during term time to save commuting from Jura to high school every day so expect a bit of wear and tear. A very nicely converted traditional stone building which was originally a cattle shed. It is situated at the rear of 10 Charlotte Street, (Entrance to the Flats is from Back Road). The location means that while it is central, it is also away from the main road and is quiet. It is minutes walk from the shops, Hotel, Bistro, The 3 Distilleries Path and bus stop. A perfect location to be based while exploring Islay.
