Monthly Rentals in Port Charlotte

We were delighted with everything about Ardnave cottage! The location in port Charlotte was perfect for the local amenities (beach, hotels and spar), the house itself was cosy and comfortable with lots of nice touches including a well equipped kitchen and super comfortable beds. We had great weather and loved being able to hang out washing out on the clothes line in the garden!! We would love to stay at Ardnave cottage again and would recommend this to anyone visiting Islay!

Pat is a lovely person, she gave us a such warm welcome! We really enjoyed our stay at Coull Farm, which is a running farm with lots of sheep, cows, friendly cats and dogs, tractors eg. The cottage provided us with everything we needed, especially the kitchen is perfectly equipped. Stunning views to nearby Machir Bay, Kilchoman destillery is also nearby, a good location for having lunch, grabbing homemade cakes, really good coffee and whisky of course.

We (two couples with four young kids (under 4)) stayed here in May 2025 for a week and had a fantastic time. The home had everything we needed and was an excellent base for exploring Islay. The road outside is generally very quiet and there is a lawn just opposite and a small beach just 1 minute walk away, which were both really handy for the kids. Port Charlotte is a lovely place, with live music at the hotel twice a week. Thank you Elizabeth!

The Anchorage was a beautiful spot from which to explore Islay. The home was cozy and had everything we needed for a comfortable weekend stay, and the views were a highlight (loved watching the seals from the conservatory!).
