Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Pohjois-Lappi

Jari's place was in a great location, well stocked for our stay, and very comfortable!

Our stay at Tarja and Scott’s house was one of the best adventures of our lives. Even before the trip, they were very kind and helpful. When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and had everything we needed. The house was cozy and warm, with plenty of firewood. There is also a beautiful kota near the house where we could cook on the fire and watch the northern lights. We were lucky to see the aurora five nights in a row. Scott also gave us great advice about hiking and kindly let us stay a bit longer on our last day. Before we left, we had a nice talk and learned more about his life. We will always remember this peaceful place by the lake and hope to return one day. :)

We had an amazing time at this property. The privacy is to the next level. We were pleasantly surprised by how immersed it was into nature. The frozen lake was the perfect view during the days and at night we had the clearest views of the northern lights! Would definitely recommend to everyone if they’re looking for a secluded getaway away from town.

Beautiful and very cozy apartment. The communication with Pirko went really well and Pirkko was very friendly. Comfortable beds ensured a successful rest for the next day.

The house was really friendly with a good overall atmosphere. It was perfect for these 4 nights with some friends. The view is beautiful from the house, the sauna is pretty authentic, and we really enjoyed laying in the fresh snow afterwards.

We had four lovely nights at the property. We were very satisfied with the amenities, there are more utensils than we originally thought. The quiet location in the Pyhä National Park is excellent in 5 min, almost everything is reachable by car (supermarkets, rental, trails, ski resort, hiking routes, restaurants, and other activities). Our highlight in the apartment was the sauna and the proximity to nature. Noora was a very great hostess, she always responded very quickly if there were any questions. Gladly again, highly recommend.

The place was really clean, cozy, and a different experience. Hanna was really nice and friendly. To top it off, we had so much fun feeding reindeers and get to know the Finnish life. Hanna provided us with fresh eggs from her hens too! Love the place and atmosphere. Great for someone looking for a cabin life experience. We would give 6 stars if we could!

We stayed at Iras place for one week and we loved every second of it! We were surrounded by beautiful nature and could really calm down there! We totally can recommend staying there :)

Blissful area. Lots of enjoyment of the cottage. The sauna is definitely a plus. The owners are very kind and help with everything. I definitely recommend this cottage for people who want to get away for a few days and enjoy each other and the surroundings. Everything is close-by and super quiet.

Pert's place was great for our family. Services within walking distance and ski trails too. Definitely worth the price.

The location couldn’t be better- ski from the front door straight onto the XC groomed tracks. The place itself is cosy and comfortable- the renovated sauna was lovely, the bed super comfy and the view out the window to the snow was relaxing.

A nice and clean place in a quiet area. Easy to get to by car. Well-equipped kitchen, big enough refrigerator plus, and good freezer. Lots of duvets and pillows. Large drying cabinet. Atmospheric fireplace.

It's a lovely little but cozy apartment with everything you need. The fireplace was ready when we got there. We'll definitely be back!

Thank you Marianne for your hospitality. Cozy cottage, perfect for 4 people. The equipment of the cottage was very convenient, it had everything you needed for a week-long stay. Comfortable beds, a place to hang out in the afternoon, the internet works impeccable. Good location of the cottage, off the beaten path, quiet and just 20 min. walk to the shop, restaurants, bars and other attractions of the town. We didn't have a car, but that didn't bother us. We went to the cross-country trails in a few minutes. Marianne advised us the best way to get from the airport, and told us how the weather was coming. When we had any questions before or during our stay, she always responded within a few minutes. Marianne's place was a very good place to stay for a week. Highly recommend! Thanks, and best regards.

Nice apartment for a week in Saariselkä as a base for all kinds of trips in this beautiful area. There were two of us, but you can also stay here with the four of us. I would book here again!

We had a great time with the kids in Saariselkä. The apartment is easily accessible by bus from the airport. Within walking distance there is everything you need for your stay. Would come back right away. Highly recommend.

We had the most magical time at the Kieppi cottage. It was the perfect mix of being able to completely ‘unplug’ and enjoy the intensely beautiful nature in Lapland while still having all modern amenities in this ultra-cozy space (and a nice grocery store nearby). Hannu and Anne-Marie are wonderful hosts and gladly helped us with anything we needed during our stay. The excursions with 70 North were 10/10!! Absolutely epic days, thanks again for the most amazing trip!

We had a pleasant stay in this beautiful villa, very well-equipped and with splendid lake views.

The house is perfect, the lake is a dream place for aurora watching, and meeting reindeer ! Ilkka is of great help to organize activities. I would highly recommend this place.

We have had an absolutely wonderful time, the house was beautiful, warm, cosy and so well equipped in a fabulous location within walking distance to all shops and restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we will return. Saariselka is so beautiful too. Ari was excellent in communicating and responding and very flexible with our arrival and departure timings. Beautiful home in a wonderfully rural setting but not far from amenities. We were lucky enough to see the northern lights from the home on 2 of the 3 nights we stayed and on one of those occasions Ville highlighted they were nearby which was kind. The house had all the amenities to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Thank you.

We had a wonderful and peaceful time. Just absolutely great.

We had a good time at the place. The house is big, comfortable and warm. The double bed is very comfortable. Kitchen well equipped maybe some of the equipment need refreshment. If you need firewood more then provided bring your own or be ready to work hard with an axe. We were a couple but the house is more family/ group friendly. All in all a good experience.
