Private suite vacation rentals in Pocono Mountains

Great host, nice accommodation. bedroom was extremely roomy, dining area was large. Bathroom was spotless. plenty of place to put bags, etc. not full of clutter. comes with coffee pot, full size fridge/freezer, microwave and toaster. Lovely pond out the front full of fish and frogs!

We had a super relaxing great stay at Chris & Tara's! The apartment is solid, well appointed, and in a wonderful setting. Lot of windows and lots of light. The apartment is attached to the house but we did not hear any noise/activity from the main house, and the windows that could allow a line of sight to the main house or driveway are frosted for privacy. We did some bird watching from the comfort of the couch, saw some deer, fawn, a fox strolled through in the afternoon. With a window open you can hear the waterfall in the pond and the frogs. I wish we had another day to lounge and watch more wildlife. We did not fully use the kitchen (we only reheated food we brought), but we found the kitchen to be well equipped and there were basic staples on arrival: bread, eggs, butter, milk, cheese, & misc condiments. There was a tray of coffee/tea options. We will definitely book the apartment the next time we visit the area. Thank you Chris & Tara!

Eveny's place was great for what we needed. The pond out back was beautiful. It rained, so unfortunately we didn't get to enjoy it like we hoped. As others have said, you will hear footsteps and furniture moving. She is also a very early riser, if that matters for you. There is not a heavy curtain to close for privacy for the door. Finally, make sure you leave before 11 am. I was trying to put the key in the lockbox at exactly 11 am and could not because it was already locked. Overall, Eveny's place was what we needed with a beautiful view.

Place is clean, well stocked with everything you need and the host had great communication. Definitely recommend this place if staying in Scranton area.

This place is very well maintained, everything is clean, new and modern. Every room has it's own heating and cooling unit so you can set the temperature to what you like. This is a quiet neighborhood in a bay area of Lake Hopatcong, walking distance to some pubs and restaurants. I really enjoyed the Espresso machine, and siting outside on the deck overlooking Lake Hopatcong. Loved kayaking in the mornings, as this area of the Lake is no wake. There are also paddle boards in the boathouse if you prefer that instead of kayaks. The house is on a flat lot with a big gravel driveway for multiple cars, so parking is never an issue even if you're having guests over for BBQ. I highly recommend Zbigniew and his home as he's a true super host that will go above and beyond to make your stay perfectly relaxing.

My girlfriend and I traveled to the Poconos for a weekend getaway and absolutely loved our stay at Sarah’s. We were looking for something private and secluded while also being within reasonable distance to hiking trails, local restaurants and breweries. Sarah was super friendly and responsive. The property was tidy and clean and we felt right at home. She even left us fresh eggs! A+++ host, highly recommend!

10/10, we loved our stay here! We drove down from Maine to hike in the Adirondacks and we stayed here after, and our trip wouldn’t have been nearly as good if we didn’t. There were snacks and drinks in a kitchenette across from our room, and there’s a bar and diner downstairs. Richard was fantastic and we ended up having a great time with him at the bar - we weren’t planning on having a drink, but I’m glad we did; Richard was great company and it was nice to relax with a drink before heading upstairs to our room for the night. We had brunch the next morning in the diner and the food was delicious! Very cute and eclectic place; it’s on a road with pretty Mountain View’s across from the Delaware river and also has a brook behind it too. Really cute place, we’re definitely going to stay here next time we’re in NY.

Terrific, private, quiet, well-located apartment...perfect for what I needed. Wendy was very responsive, and the apartment could not have been more comfortable. Highly recommend.

I would definitely go back if need be. Slept like an angel!
