Cottage vacation rentals in Pocono Mountains

We absolutely loved our stay here! The cabin is cozy, homey, clean and engaging! My friends and I had a blast cooking, playing pool, going in the hot tub and skiing. Everything in the home was easy to use and the instructions were very clear. Even with a block wide power outage, Ray was incredibly gracious and responsive and took care of us. We want to come back in the summer months to enjoy the lake!

Great place for our family to stay for our ski trip. Close location for the area to multiple mountains. House was very clean and everything was exactly as advertised. When I had a few questions, Garrett was quick to respond. Will definitely rebook for next year and probably will try a summer season rental as well.

We spent a getaway weekend as a group of moms with their kids and it was the perfect spot. Easy enough to child proof, the furniture was very comfortable, and the house was spotless. The outside amenities and forested area were fun and well-maintained. The host was the most proactive, communicative, and helpful that I’ve had. Fantastic stay, and would absolutely stay again!

everything was very clean! Great place! would recommend! about a 10 minute drive out of the neighborhood but its good if you wanna be secluded. hottub was nice. very comfortable place. thanks for having us!

This is my second time staying here and it was just as good as the first time. John is a great host and the house was exactly as listed. It was perfect for what we needed and close to several attractions in the area. We will for sure come back again.

place was just as pictured maybe even better. it was perfect for my group of 8 and everyone had their own bed. kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed to cook for the weekend. we really enjoyed roasting marshmallows over the fire pit and relaxing in the hot tub. would definitely recommend to others and would stay again next time i visit the Poconos.

100% recommend for anyone looking to get away and feel peaceful. It was a perfect small cottage. There was a basket with a bottle of wine and requirements for smores. Which we thought was very sweet. The bed was comfortable. They charged a speaker for us to use and had speakers everywhere outside available in the backyard with a fire pit and hot tub. Just a beautiful stay overall. <3

This was a lovely little getaway. There are lots of nice towns to visit that are all within a little drive away. I would say that this is a great place to take advantage of for a party of 4 or two couples. The amenities offer everything you need for a weekend visit and if you're visiting in the winter months, bring some fire wood with you to take advantage of the wood burning stove. Dan has the self-service piece down to a science and everything you need to know is easy to access within the app.

Could not have asked for a better host in Jan! Jan and her dogs greeted us as we pulled into the driveway and gave a warm welcome. The house was cozy and the scenery was beautiful. There are a number of wonderful restaurants and shops in the nearby towns. You will have to drive to visit the sites, but they’re all very close by and the towns themselves are very walkable. My partner and I had misplaced a very sentimental item while there and did not realize it had been lost until after checkout. Jan went above and beyond to make sure our item was found and shipped it back to us safely, even refusing payment despite our best efforts! We stayed during the winter, and the heat turning on and off did make a noticeable sound, so light sleepers may want to bring earplugs or a white noise machine. That is a very very minor critique though in an otherwise perfect stay with a remarkable host. We will definitely be looking to stay here again.

Great stay!!! Exactly as described. Close to Jim Thorpe and amazing restaurants /scenic spots. Home is nestled closely to another house but that we knew based upon previous reviews and wasn’t a problem. Loved the hot tub and modern cabin ambiance. Fantastic responsive host! Would stay again!!

This is our second time visiting the cabin and we love it because you can relax and the best thing is that the river is behind the yard and you can fish right there. Earl is very friendly, always responds quickly and the cabin is very clean, it is a perfect place to relax, we hope to return soon.

We were first time visitors to Jim Thorpe and we were so fortunate to have stayed at The Van Pelt House! It was an ideal location, we walked everywhere and returning each day felt like coming home. The house is beautiful, snug, and comfortable. Helen even left us snacks and a bottle of wine. The back deck and the fire pit patio was wonderful and a great place to relax. Helen was the perfect host and we very much look forward to returning.

Breathtaking Views, Cozy Cabin - A Perfect Getaway. From the moment we arrived at lazy river , we were blown away. The views were absolutely incredible! Waking up to the Delaware river and the winter views, the sunrise over the mountains, was truly magical. The cabin itself was cozy and comfortable, with well-equipped kitchen, a fireplace, a comfortable bed. We especially loved the deck views of the river, with driving distance to beautiful views like high point and surrounding hills only minutes away, the fire pit outside and the fire place inside, can't forget the good collection of record players. David was a fantastic host. They were very responsive, helpful with local tips, and ensured we had everything we needed. We felt very welcome and well taken care of throughout our stay. We highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway with stunning scenery.

Great getaway cabin! Perfect for a weekend or a long weekend stay that’s close to hiking trails and other points of interest around the area. You felt secluded and the view of the Delaware River from the couch and bed made the stay perfect. Great kitchen for cooking meals and spacious for a cabin. Clean, and cute. You’ll enjoy this as your temporary home base. Great spot for winter or summer activities. They have an area to jump into the river safely off a docking area. Great for families with kids or romantic couple weekend. We felt safe and very comfortable.

We had an amazing stay! The space was incredibly comfortable, with plenty of room for our group of four ladies, and we felt right at home from the moment we arrived. The beds were cozy, and the overall atmosphere was warm and inviting. We were easily able to make eggs, toast and coffee which we enjoyed in the super cute dining while listening to Carly Simon on the record player. What really made this stay special were Kristen's thoughtful recommendations. From fantastic local restaurants to hidden gems in the area, she provided us with all the insider tips, making our trip even more memorable. It was clear that she truly cares about her guests’ experiences, including around what to expect upon arrival. And she responded quickly when we reached to her with a question. We couldn’t have asked for a better spot to enjoy a ladies' weekend getaway, and we’d definitely return! Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing, comfortable stay with great local insights.

We had a perfect long weekend at Steven's cottage. It is bigger than it looks in the photos and was immaculately clean when we arrived. Steven was extremely responsive to all our questions and needs. The place is incredibly peaceful, a 2 min walk from the lake, on a private road where Steven owns all three houses. It was so relaxing and rejuvenating to spend time at this oasis with my partner and our best friends. There's a lot to love, but the best part is that the house comes with a private deck and dock, and unlimited access to various boats, to make your lake weekend whatever you want it to be. We loved that we could take our dogs to play fetch off the dock and not worry about getting in anyone's way or having to share any space. It was a great stay and we hope to go back!

Cool place to getaway if you like private and quiet. Perfect place to relax and getaway from the city. The host were helpful, responsive, and nice people. I will be returning in future to experience the warm weather on the property.

This place was comfortable, cute and lots of fun. We made great memories and had some much needed relaxation. We had the fireplace going and it was nice to play cards and board games by it. Great host! Very nice and kept us in the loop about the roads and the weather conditions. When we were hit with snow our host came the following morning and plowed the driveway for us. He allowed us to check out a bit later which gave us time for breakfast and to clean snow off our cars. We also had so much fun playing in the snow near by. The upstairs terrace had a small comfortable lounge chair for reading and a large outside patio with multiple chairs. There is enough space for people to do their own thing and as a group. Thanks again for having us!

Our stay at Andrew's home was so amazing! We enjoyed every moment, everything was as described and andrew was very responsive.
