Monthly Rentals in Playa Barco Quebrado

Elena wasn’t able to greet us right away but her mother was so sweet and friendly. Elena left us a note with the details. Later she greeted us and was extremely nice. We only stayed one night but would have loved to settle in if it wasn’t for the prior arrangements. The beaches close by had all kinds of hermit crabs, and beautiful black sand.

The surroundings are very nice and the house is good. However it is quite rural and some cleaning was missing. Regarding the time to find the house, it was difficult for us with the explanations but Andrés went to look for us and helped us.

We loved this place. It’s extremely well-equipped, more than any other Airbnb we have stayed in Costa Rica. The wooden deck is spacious and it’s a perfect place to chill. We watched a family of howler monkeys munching tree leaves for over 30 minutes and birds building nest. It feels very close to nature, peaceful and private. The tub was my daughter’s favorite. We spent a lot of time staying in and relax. To the closest towns Nosara or Samara takes roughly 30 min drive. There is a beach close by about 20 min walking distance. It’s a nice and private beach but currents were strong when we were there, not safe for swimming. Moreover, the hosts were very responsive and addressed our questions in a very timely fashion. We highly appreciate. Overall, we spent a great time there, short but sweet. Thanks! Pura vida!
