House vacation rentals in Platamona

It was very nice and Luigi took care of everything super quickly and kindly. We had a defect in the dishwasher during our stay. The electrician came by immediately and installed a new machine within a few hours. Really great! The apartment is just as beautiful as in the pictures and there is everything you need. Be careful with the power connection: Do not use too many appliances at the same time, otherwise the main fuse will fly out. In April it is still nice and quiet in Palau - the pool was already in operation but still very cold.

Beautiful house, Paolo and Lella always super available for anything. Super recommended!

We really enjoyed our stay. Although there was a problem with the pool, the views and the beautiful neighborhood compensated for the inconvenience. Very quiet place, perfect for relaxing. Great communication with the owner. Highly recommended!

Spectacular stay, immersed in the Gallura countryside, in the garden of the house tall oak trees, shady, and a beautiful swimming pool to cool off in the absence of a nearby beach. We had the very pleasant company of two kittens, polite and affectionate, and as night fell, a land hedgehog visited us, curious but discreet. Very cool house inside, a pleasant surprise for the start of summer. Unexpected amenities in a country house: the dishwasher! It saved us from tedious after-dinner housework. Comfortable beds, a large bathroom with a washing machine, and a large and bright dining room. And surprise... free Wi-Fi! We thank Antonio for the pleasant weekend and we will be back!

Host Antonio communicated very pleasantly with us throughout the process and the reception and explanation at his fantastic accommodation was great. The place gave even more peace and privacy than we had expected beforehand. Antonio will take you here once, and then you'll know the way. So you do need a car, but that was also known. The accommodation is full of comforts and the bathroom with the lovely large bath is great. The outdoor shower is wonderful. A great bed! And what a service that even had various food and drink items ready for us. Thank you Antonio 👌

Daniele is a great host, always there to help. We had a wonderful time in the house with all services provided (bbq, swimming pool, airco). The views are incredible, especially during the sunset.

We loved Villa Ivy and how easy it was to check in. Antonella was waiting to welcome us on arrival, sharing ideas for best beaches and restaurants. We enjoyed walking to the nearest beach and walking into Palau for dinner and the ferry across to the island - well worth a trip. The supermarket is also really close.

Residence and beautiful setting, close to nature, most beautiful sunset in Sardinia 10 minutes away (Li Cossi), Natalia was very nice and very responsive. Recommended.

We enjoyed it very much. The location is very well located if you want to go surfing. it was very clean. The contact was always very friendly. The only thing we would have wished for would have been a vacuum cleaner. If you are in an apartment for a longer time, it gets very dusty, a broom is not enough. Otherwise, the equipment was very good. We would book the apartment again.

Alicia is very friendly, she answered all my questions quickly. The apartment is impeccable, well-equipped with everything you need!! I would rent it again!!

This is an incredible home. The house is uniquely designed and extremely comfortable. The kitchen has everything you would need. The bedrooms each have a bathroom and are very private from one another. But what makes this home so remarkable is the location. The view is expansive and breathtaking. There are so many gorgeous places to swim all around, either from the giant (and beautiful) rocks and from the nearby beaches. The beach that is about an 8 minute walk through a wooded trail is a truly magical beach, wonderful "big" sand and shells. There are good places to eat and markets a short (3-6 minutes) drive away in the hotel complexes nearby, or go into Palau, which is about a 15 minute drive and has lots to offer in terms of restaurants and shopping.

Antoinetta is a real tophost! Prompt communication and welcomes her guests with local Sardinian treats and some cool drinks in the fridge. Her house has a fantastic, private garden and the outdoor kitchen is the cherry on the pie. The house itself is large enough and spotlessly clean. We can’t recommend this place enough. It was the second time we’ve stayed here and we can’t recommend it enough.

The place is great for staying in the north-east of the island. From there you can reach many beautiful beaches by car, but you can also walk to the three beaches of Palau itself or just drive over to La Maddalena! The place itself is super nice, as shown on the pictures and above all quiet and relaxed. Unfortunately, the dishes were not really clean with us, but this was not due to Caterina, but our previous tenants! Otherwise, it was super clean and everything was in great order. The parking situation is not that easy. With luck you can park in front of the house, if that doesn't work, you can park the car "upstairs" in the village, so far away from the ferry. There is a free parking space, especially at Spar, which you can really easily reach on foot. Therefore, you can always solve possible parking problems quite well. Overall, the place is a great recommendation!

We stayed for 6 nights and enjoyed every day. Eleonora and her mum were great hosts and replied to all our questions. The house is located in the hills with a very wonderful view towards the sea! There are only a few neighbors but far away so you have the area to yourself. The house offers everything you need! There is only a small road to the house and you would need your own car to get there. We highly recommend that place. Thanks Eloenora and Martina - you were great hosts!

This was our second stay at Patrizia's gorgeous house, we booked as soon as we got home after our visit the previous year, which probably is the highest recommendation I can give. The house is in a beautiful, quiet, rural location with stunning views over the surrounding hills and coastline. The house is rustic inside and out, in-keeping with the old Sardinian farm house that it was. It was clean and tidy inside, with everything that we needed during our stay. The surrounding gardens are left beautifully wild and we saw a variety of birds and wildlife during our stay (including tortoises!). Despite the rural location, it is still within easy driving distance of the beautiful coast, the town of Palau and surrounding countryside. The major supermarkets in Palau are approx' 20 minutes drive away and to get to the nearest beach is similar. We went for some amazing hikes during our stay with a mixture of coastal walks and mountain trails.

May 25-29, 2025 weather mid-70s You must be able to navigate 42 steps to reach the front door, but after that little bit of exercise, you will have found paradise! You have your choice of two shaded terraces to enjoy the view of the sail boats and ferries travelling between Palau and Maddalena. The little beach down the steps is a perfect place to snorkel. We loved our 4-night stay at La Fonda in Porto Rafael. Day trips to La Maddalena and Caprera Islands, Porto Cervo, Palau and Santa Teresa di Gallura were easy drives.

From the beginning of our trip we had a wonderful welcome. Our flight arrived very late and they came to the airport and guide us to the accommodation. We loved yard, lots of trees, space for the kids to run and play around with fresh air. There were some utensils missing in the kitchen but they quickly answered our request and brought them the next day. They were also kind enough to come and check the water deposit in the middle of the trip to be sure we had plenty for the rest of our vacation. Unfortunately we had a heat wave at the beginning of the trip and had a couple of rough days because there is no AC, but after that everything was fine. Communication was impecable, and Irene and his parents were the most helpful and accommodating hosts. I would definitely recommend staying with them.

We enjoyed our stay at Marica's very much. We immediately felt comfortable and our boys loved taking care of the cats. The only thing that may be important to know is that three of the 5 beds outside the apartment are in a room in the basement. Perfect for us. For small children, it may not necessarily be recommended. The location of the apartment is beautiful and you can do a lot from there. We will be happy to come back.

Jacqui’s place was amazing! We spent a week there with a family of 7 and had the most wonderful time together. It’s beautiful and even way better than in the pictures. This place gives you all the rest and piece of mind that you can wish for. Super clean and very stylish, beautiful with attention to details. We enjoyed it very much. It’s quite special that there is a main house and 2 separate tiny houses with a bath/shower. The surroundings are very nice and there is also a small village close by. It’s just great! Can really recommend Jacqui’s place. 10+ for sure

We stayed at Ugo's place as a family. The location close to the cliffs offers great views. The relatively small house was very clean. A car should definitely be there, otherwise you can't reach immediate villages with shopping or restaurants. The location is optimal for excursions to the north or northwest.

Good house on three floors, good facilities, nice with terrace and small garden. Located secluded. We were two adults and 4 children. The city offers various opportunities also outside of season, there is, for example, a playground, beach, restaurant, grocery store, kiosk. We enjoyed our days in La Ciaccia. The host was welcoming and helpful.

Highly recommended place!! Agostino and his wife Alba are fantastic people, initially immediately after the friendly welcome, they recommended us where to go, what to visit and what to do, in the evening when we returned from the excursions we never missed a greeting for a beer or two friendly chats. The experience was definitely unique for the place it deserves a lot, (on one side even overlooking the sea) but much more for the friendship that the homeowners give you without asking for anything in return. As someoneelse wrote in a review before me, we arrived as tourists, we went to Friends. We will definitely be back to enjoying this apartment and its wonderful owners!
