Hostel vacation rentals in Plainview

I got in late so I didn't actually get to meet the host, but she was super warm and accommodating by phone and set me up with everything I needed to settle in for a couple nights. I even got a room to myself because they wanted me to feel comfortable and safe because the rest of the people staying there were men. There aren't many provisions around the neighborhood, so bring everything you need. There was a helpful dollar store a block away which provided me with three days worth of tuna and banana chips, so I was good to go. The locals are kind of scary from afar but when you talk to them they are quite kind and have great stories to share.

One of the nicest hostels I've stayed at! Everything was clean and straightforward. I loved the location and walked to most things I did while visiting! I'd love to stay again.

I came into town due to a sick fur-baby. Needed this as a very last minute also needed a quiet space to try to recover and exactly what I got. Clean room. Comfy bed. Great temp. Clean bathroom. In the morning was nice to meet folks who share a great cup of coffee with me. Back again tonight! Price was well worth it and more comfortable than any hotel.

Great place to stay for the weekend. Was located in a great location, lots of great restaurants in a walkable distance. Overall great experience.

This place was exactly what I needed for a quiet work location. The room was spacious, and the stay was quiet, without interruption, allowing me to get much-needed work done. The bed was comfortable, and the two large desks allowed me plenty of room to spread out. The wifi worked well for my needs. I would definitely stay here again for a quiet work time or a much-needed retreat from hectic daily life.

Great place to stay for the night. And amazing location and there is a wide selection of rooms so it’s perfect for any group planning on staying in Bloomington.

Great budget option for visiting Philadelphia. Everything was clean. Signs were intuitive. Stayed in 4-bunk room. Roommates were respectful. The lockers in-room were super handy and very large. Bring your own lock or rent one from the hostel. The shared facilities were clean and well maintained. Note that toilets and showers are in different areas, not together. I didn't take advantage of the free drinks they offered in the common room, but everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves! This hostel is very close to Penn's Landing and the blue line train. Convenient!

One of the best places we've ever stayed! Hosts made us feel right at home and gave great local tips. The property itself is such an amazing building and the beds were very comfortable. Most of all the people and atmosphere top off what'sa really well setup and run business by a great family.

The common area is much nicer than the photos. The bed was comfortable. Can’t get a better location in downtown for cheaper. The employees were also super nice and responsive.

Overall pretty nice!! Not spotless though, there were noticeable dirt and debris between my matress and bed frame. Maybe that’s too much though to ask given the fluxive nature of occupants. Just a minor thing

At first, I was afraid of this location since this hostel doesn’t face to big road, however even after sunsets, neighborhood was so safe. I could walk around by myself

Definitely a non-traditional stay, but appropriately priced. The property is essentially a hallway with a few bedrooms (I believe 5?), one bathroom with shower for all, shared living area with tv and microwave/fridge. As there are no staff onsite, no fixtures aimed for socialization with all (living area had one couch), and no shared bedrooms, it did not feel like a traditional hostel or like any other stay I’ve experienced before. Had WiFi so I was able to work remotely.

Great place for the price, everything was super clean. I usually expect a kitchen at a hostel, so just be aware there is only a microwave and a mini fridge and a coffee maker. It’s next-door to a gun shop, so don’t be alarmed if you hear a gunshot! We only heard one in four days. The bed in our first room was broken, but they were very responsive and immediately moved us to a different room.

Love this hostel! I’ve met some very wonderful people here & it’s in a great area if you drive your own vehicle or use public transportation.

I must say that it was a great stay. I felt safe and comfortable all the time. The cleaning lady is doing an exceptional job and I do commend Anthony for keeping up with the weekly cleaning service. Everything looks exactly as described. I must say that if i need a place to stay in Crescent again, McKee Place will be my 1st option. I will also recommend if I know anyone looking for a place in that area. Good job Anthony, all the best in your future endeavors.
