Mererau Lodge

Extremely convenient location with access to beach bikes and if desired, e-bikes or a rental car. Lush vegetation everywhere. Heiani (just fyi) does not live on the island so his parents manage the whole thing on site. His dad picked us up and dropped us off at the port which is practically around the corner. Very nice people; thanks for your hospitality, Karl and Laure!

Ke One Bungalow at Ke One Cottages Beach View

Everything has already been said on previous reviews - the position and views are definitely the hero. We were very happy with the free arrival transfer - makes check in very easy. It worked very well for us. We rented a boat and had a lovely day on the water, walked to all the nearby bars and grocery stores within walking distance came in handy. The Intercontinental Hotel was kind enough to organise a taxi for us, going to a restaurant on the other side of the island. Jenny also helped us with a departure transfer (this one you pay for). We will definitely recommend it to our friends.

Bora Bora waterfront sunrise villa

ToddRating, 5 stars8 months ago
We had an amazing stay and would definitely stay there again. We spent most evenings on the outside deck listening to music and enjoying the beautiful view of the lagoon. We took several bike rides (provided by the host) to the nearby stores. Was really nice to see how locals live. We did a day pass to the Conrad resort and though we thought that was amazing we would rather stay at Villa Sunrise. There is a rental car agency 5 minute walk from the house. Just past that a Jetski rental. So super convenient. If you want a more real island vibe vs luxury resort type thing I highly recommend this house.

Ouma Villa on Matira Beach

RyanRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Our stay at this villa was incredible! After arriving early, the host recommended a fantastic local restaurant (Restaurant Saint James) and a nearby market while we waited. The villa, just a short drive from Vaitape, was even more stunning than expected. Nicolas greeted us with a tour of the property, and we were immediately impressed by its beauty. The villa is perfectly equipped for a tropical getaway, with a fully stocked kitchen, air-conditioned bedrooms, a spacious living area, and a sun deck offering breathtaking views of the beach and ocean. We also loved the outdoor amenities, including snorkel gear, paddle boards, and kayaks. The host truly went above and beyond—offering dining recommendations, making reservations, and even arranging a private speedboat charter for a snorkeling adventure around the island. His attentiveness made us feel cared for and ensured a seamless experience. We highly recommend this villa to anyone seeking a luxurious, tropical retreat!
