“This little cabin was the ideal space for us after a full day of travel. Hina was waiting for us upon arrival at the airport and couldn’t have been any more hospitable. The facilities more than met our needs, and the small touches of shower products, and breakfast items was most appreciated. As others have pointed out in prior reviews, roosters were strangely crowing in the middle of the night in neighbouring properties, but nothing that bothered us too much.”
Situated on the heights of Papeete in a luxuriant and protected environment, in the peace and in the freshness, in 7 minutes of the airport and the city. With an amazing view 360 ° on the sea and the mountains.
“We spent 3 nights with Pierre and we will have great memories of it. Pierre lives in a very nice apartment and welcomed us with great kindness and he was very good advice to help us discover the treasures of Tahiti. We particularly appreciated the view with a private balcony. The photos were very consistent and the location of the apartment ideal for us who had a car. The swimming pool of the residence is really nice. Pierre was more than accommodating at check in and very quick to respond to our messages. His trailer is a very good place to eat you can go there with your eyes closed. We would definitely come back to it if the opportunity arises.”
Overwater bungalow N°3 Bungalow N°3 is a unique overwater bungalow with an open flow living room & kitchen design leaving you with unobstructed 180° panoramic views of Bora Bora's famous lagoon. Its no wonder that this luxurious bungalow was once owned by Hollywood's own Jack Nicholson. You will find paradise relaxing on the terrace, enjoying cool ocean breezes, swimming in the lagoon, watching the setting sun or enjoying the nightly animation of fish swimming around the underwater lights.
“You should stay here! We spent a magical week celebrating our 15 year anniversary at Bungalow #3. The views are breathtaking, being overwater means no bugs and immediate access to the water. We compared our experience with those who stayed at the resorts and we're so glad we stayed here instead! You get way more space, a well-equipped kitchen, AC in the bedroom, and kayaking and snorkeling gear ready for your use. One large perk is that you're on the mainland where the resorts are on their own private islands. The resorts take advantage of that fact to price gouge guests. A Coke will cost nearly $10 on several resorts but can be found for less than $2.00 at Super U or Chin Lee's down the street. We had full easy access to the island which we loved, even though just staying in the Bungalow was enough of a treat! Being able to choose when to make our own meal and when to go to a restaurant or food truck (Nico's!) made a big difference on our trip and helped save money for massages, quad tour, jet ski tour, and snorkeling tour. Nearly every morning and evening we pulled out the kayak to explore the bay. That was the best perk! Also seeing the fish swimming by the bungalow at night was a lot of fun. Don't forget to sit in the lounge chairs at night to enjoy the stars! We also rented the car through the host and that proved to be a very convenient way to go. Since it's a few minutes drive into town, I wouldn't want to do that by foot or bike and renting through the host gave me one less thing to worry about. One thing I didn't realize is that the tours will usually pick you up and drop you off at your place, so technically we could have gotten by without a car for a few days but I'm glad I had it just for peace of mind. If you want the overwater bungalow experience without the price gouging of the resorts, this is the way to go! You won't regret it. The only"negative" I can think of is there is a rooster or two living nearby that I wouldn't mind turning into dinner! But that's island life for you... Enjoy :)”
