The place was great. The view from the beautiful terrace! Nuno is an extremely kind host. He responds quickly and gave us plenty of recommendations. The departure and arrival at the accommodation was made very simple and pleasant thanks to him. In addition, Ponta do sol is a very convenient place: a supermarket with gas station just down the village, great restaurants and the beach being a beautiful place to see the sunset. I can only recommend this place to stay in Madeira. It's been a real favorite!

This is a fantastic apartment home. The place looks like in the pictures, with 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Very large kitchen with all appliances and a peaceful backyard with morning sunshine. A very peaceful place near the top of a mountain with easy access to beautiful hiking places just a short drive away. The home is in FAIAL which is the best area for hiking and lookouts places. Also the best value in all Madeira. This area is the best for nature lovers and away from the more expensive places in Funchal. I’m definitely returning in the future. By the way, Marco is a great host, very proactive, with a lot of suggestions on places to go.

We loved staying at Rui's house. It had everything we needed, including everything we needed for basic cooking. The house was spotless. Host Rui was a great host, proactive with communication, making sure everything went smoothly during our stay. On the other hand, I cannot ignore the access by car to the property. Although you get used to it, the journey (3 min 30 sec) on a 10-foot wide stone road with ravines on either side that leads to the houses is borderline. The biggest problem is if you meet someone coming the other way (something we haven't experienced fortunately) but which we discussed with another couple from Frankfurt, who were as terrified as we were. Again, you get used to it and it seems almost normal after a few times) 😊 I highly recommend Rui's property and him as a host, thank you for offering these small apartments on the hillside, beautiful memories.

We were in Madeira for a week and loved our stay! Opção was super responsive and available. The view from the balcony was even more beautiful in person than in the photos. The location was very private. We highly recommend this place.
