Apartment vacation rentals in Pickering

Very comfortable clean apartment with everything you could need. The gratis bottle of wine and tea cakes were a nice touch. Easy allocated parking nearby. Great location for touring and visiting the area. Village has several places to eat/take aways and local shops. Be warned about the stairs as they are a little irregular and the pub opposite had loud music all weekend, this may just have been because it was a bank holiday and was mostly cancelled out by closing the windows.

A wonderful ground-floor flat as part of a small estate of similar homes. Immaculately clean, plenty of light and large bedrooms. Alan and Lindsay were very responsive, with Alan even coming to greet us in person when we arrived. Great stay, nothing fell short of expectations.

The apartment was stunning, beautifully decorated and so spacious and comfortable. Everything you could want was supplied and it’s in a perfect location for exploring York on foot. Carole was so kind to let us check in early and leave later which was a huge benefit. Also right by the train station. We felt so at home and didn’t want to leave, would definitely recommend and return.

I had a lovely and comfortable stay. The apartment is clean, beautifully decorated and felt like home. Access was easy and the apartment has everything you need. The location is very central to the convention centre, shops and restaurants, yet felt secure and quiet. Gemma and Andy were very helpful and friendly, very responsive and ensured I had a pleasant stay. They also allowed me some extra time to check out. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Harrogate. Highly recommend.

Ideal for our short break to visit York over half term. 20mins walk to the city centre, 5mins walk to the Railway Museum. Accommodation was spot on, clean, quiet and as described. Would def recommend

The accomodation was immaculate. Couldnt be in a better location for walking into York...part of the city wall walk just outside apartmemts. Decorated for xmas which was a lovely touch. Cosy and warm... Excellent communication. Would definatly recommend .

We had a good stay at Jerry’s apartment in Micklegate. The area is lovely with plenty to do and it’s on top of a busy cafe where we had a delicious breakfast one day. It’s a really good place to stay to see the city.

The apartment was exactly as described and shown in the photos. Laura provided excellent directions which took us straight to the gate. Stewart was there when we arrived, so let us in and made us very welcome. The garden is beautiful, and he did say we could use it but sadly we didn't have time. As others have said, Laura provided milk, orange juice, bread, butter and marmelade which was a nice touch and meant we didn't need to shop. The whole apartment was well equipped with everything we needed, with a cosy and comfortable sitting area. We only used the kitchen for breakfast but it looked well enough equipped to cook in if necessary. Beds were also comfortable and it was lovely to wake up to the sound of birds in the garden and no traffic!

Gary was communicative and helpful throughout our stay. The apartment was easy to find, fully equipped with everything we needed, and had a really beautiful interior. The location is convenient, surrounding with a lot of restaurants and shops. Highly recommend!

Lovely apartment; exactly as pictured and described. Nice location. Hidden from main streets but very convenient to beaches and other areas. Perfect for a weekend getaway

We had two nice days in York and Helgas Hut helped us stay in a cozy and entchanted place during the nights. The location is in perfectly walkable distance to the city center (if you are healthy and averagelly fit) if you follow the beautiful riverside. The hut itsself is easy to reach, access and the check-in is flexible. The appartement was clean and even tough small, the space is greatly utillised. One thing that I wish I would have known beforehand is the size of the bed. Because it sits in an enclosured space, i'd say that it's not very fit for persons over 180 cm tall since they will not be able to stretch out their feet. You should keep this in mind before booking since it can be uncomfortable to sleep. Other than that, it's a great place. You can make coffee, have a hot shower and the tap-water is drinkable.

Natasha was helpful and responsive- replied within a couple of minutes of my messages. We arrived after midnight and the man at the front desk was so kind and helpful, he even went down to the garage to make sure we got in safely and carried our bags up to the flat for us. My mum was feeling he cold a little (change in season and tired) and Natasha arranged a thick duvet for her, it arrived within an hour of me asking. The flat is spotlessly clean, beds and pillows very comfortable. I think the only thing missing was a bedside lamp so I could sit up and read in bed but that's no biggie. The flat is right in the middle of Bradford so very easy to get around- we ate at the Karachi (a place my mum used to go to in the 70s!) which was very good and only a short walk away. I was warned about walking alone in Bradford at night but I felt very safe. People were friendly, there was a community police presence on Friday and Saturday night.

Great accommodation and host. Exactly what you want from AirBnB. Minor comment on the noise from the busy road outside the bedroom windows, but everything else more than makes up for that.

Excellent flat just as described pn line Two downsidès. Firstly no shelving in barhroom for toiletries and hot warer seems to be off and needs boosting to get hot water. Secondly the flat information pack is not fit for purpose snd getting the internet codes was difficult as we didnt know which num6 from the back of the touter to use. The smart TV was also fairly unresponsive and I Player was more bother than it was worth( I think the remote wants looking at) . All very minor and did not spoil our stay in any way. We are from Hull and know the arra well and needed to be in this area to visit friends and fsmily.would re book if and when we come again.

I rarely ever write reviews but this one was too amazing not to. Everything from the small details for my sister's birthday to the place blew us away. It's like a small paradise & completely unique. Very private & peaceful! I 100% would return, you will not regret booking this gem of a place. Thank you the most amazing hosts for being so kind & thoughtful!

had a beautiful say at ESK Cottage amazing views looking over whitby from the lovely hot and dicking area. the Cottage was lovely set out and cosy and in a brilliant location for walks into the heart of whitby. highly recommend looking forward to coming back

From booking this property to checking out, everything was made easy and convenient. The host was really responsive and rapid too. He was super friendly and nothing was too much trouble. He was able to offer lots of recommendations for local food outlets and places to go. Thank you for a fab stay!

Great stay for a couple nights to attend a wedding at The Norman’s, simply the best spot as so close and everything you need. The hosts are on hand in minutes if you need anything and the breakfast pack was very much appreciated!

Had a great night here before taking the kids to Eureka the next day. Had all home comforts required plus little touches of continental breakfast. Kids loved walking down to the farm to see the horses, carried on to the bottom to a beautiful field we sat a while before bedtime.

Stayed here for 1 night was was amazing the place was clean and smelt really nice. The spa bath is what really did it spent over a few hours in there and stayed hot was really relaxing with Netflix on the tv. Would recommend this place to friends and family. The hosts were really friendly and explained everything perfectly. Will definitely be coming back again.
