Waterfront vacation rentals in Piana Calzata

This was our second stay at Alessandra’s Casa sul di Mare. We have only done the same AirBnB at this special place since traveling. It is the best location for the view and allows our daughter to play all day on the beach while we can see her right from the room. It has the best restaurants within a block and entertainment. It is historical and makes you feel like you transported back in time. Alessandra is a beautiful host and had the best recommendations for Cefalu. She was very helpful when our daughter was not well and offered to arrange for her to see a doctor. Only in Sicilia do you have such compassion and welcoming hosts like Alessandra. Grazie mille ci vediamo l'anno prossimo!

Loris takes great pride in his listing. This is a very modern very clean and well appointed apartment. We were welcomed with a bottle of good Sicilian wine and we were greeted each morning by Loris with a text asking how we were and how we slept. It’s hard to beat this sort of hospitality.

Would definitely recommend for a Palermo city trip!

Giulia’s was a lovely place to stay for the week. The house is a well kept, spacious beach front property. I hope to visit again soon.

This is a beautiful place to stay. Very clean, spacious, secure and quiet. It is easy to walk to cafes, restaurants, supermarket, bakery and waterfront. Having a washing machine was a bonus and it was easy to use. We enjoyed buying local products from the supermarket and cooking our own meals. Our hosts were also very helpful when our train was cancelled because of a strike. They helped us find a bus so that we could still continue our planned holiday.

Die Zeit bei Stefania war wunderbar. In Mondello hat uns alles erwartet, was wir uns gewünscht haben. Das Wetter war toll und wir konnten baden, sehr gut essen und auch wandern und Sightseeing war möglich. Palermo ist mit dem Bus unkompliziert und sehr regelmäßig zu erreichen. Nach gut drei Stunden Fahrt waren wir am Etna. Eine rundum gelungene Woche.

Tinky was great. Greater us, showed us around the apartment. The rooftop was amazing. He explained everything and was always available. Apartment right above a grocery store which was extremely convenient. Less than a 10 minute walk to the old city’s

Boendet ligger i en del av Palermo som har många fina historiska byggnader runtomkring. Dessutom ligger det en fin park precis utanför dörren. Mycket trevlig plats och mycket trevlig värd👍🏻

Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit in Rosanna's Strandhaus. Rosanna hat und herzlich begrüßt und wir haben uns direkt zu Hause gefühlt. Sie gab uns Tipps für Unternehmungen und war immer sehr gut erreichbar. Das Meer vor der Haustür ist wunderschön und sehr gut für kleine Kinder geeignet.

We stayed for four weeks in march. We had a great time, we fell in love with the place and their lovely dog Fiocco who is very sweet, also to children. Therèse and Viviana were very kind and helpful when we had questions. The house is situated in the middle of a large lemon grove and a daily stroll to the sea (it's a pebble beach) is greatly recommended. The nearby village San Stefano di Camastra is great for an ice cream and a coffee. We expected more hikes to be near, as it is located right next to Nebrodi but finding and reaching hotspots (hiking or otherwise) was ultimately harder than expected. We encountered this across Sicily though and is not related to the house itself. Our children loved to roam around the premises and find their own little adventures. All in all, we had a great relaxed stay and felt in tune with rural Sicily.

superbe séjour dans la propriété de Roberto, avec vue panoramique à couper le souffle,dans un très joli jardin située à 30 minutes de palerme, 20min de segeste... Roberto est un hôte très accueillant, sympathique ,de bons conseils, très disponible et réactif, et nous a même amené quelques douceurs pour le petit déjeuner. une adresse à conseiller !

Apparemment d’une propreté irréprochable, confortable et bien équipé. La vue sur la mer depuis la terrasse est magnifique. Nous recommandons fortement. Le propriétaire nous a donné de bonnes adresses de restaurants. Seul petit bémol le wifi ne passe pas dans les chambres ce qui entraîne pour nous francais un surcoût sur notre facture de téléphone. Un torchon pour essuyer la vaisselle aurait été utile. Encore merci pour ce beau séjour.

Très bel appartement avec une vue imprenable sur la mer. Quartier paisible. Belle promenade à proximité. Daniela est une hôte charmante et très réactive. Merci aussi à Maurizio, très sympathique, qui nous a réceptionné à notre arrivée et nous a guidé pour le parking voiture. Nous reviendrons séjourner chez Daniela avec un très grand plaisir.

We had a great time at Giovanni’s house. The house is big and has good vibes and makes you feel thrown back to the “belle époque”:) Some things could be renovated but it’s charming. Everything was cleaned very well!! The location is great, just right by the beach. It’s a good place to stay with friends and family. Giovanni is extremely friendly and helpful. He always responded to our messages and helped out. He got a crib for our baby and 2 highchairs which was very helpful. Grazie mille Giovanni!!

Très bon séjour dans cet appartement lumineux et très pratique avec salle de bains/toilettes/point d' eau à chaque étage. Super vue depuis la terrasse et depuis la maison on peut visiter Sciacca à pied! Alfonso est un super hôte qui nous a indiqué tout ce qui est à visiter dans la ville et aux alentours, merci encore à lui 😉

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt in dem Haus von Francesco direkt am Strand! Leider ist der privatstrand nicht so gut gepflegt, sodass viel Zeug aus dem Meer angespült wird. Aber dafür kann der Host natürlich nichts. Das Haus war super sauber und gepflegt, und die Einrichtung war wirklich toll – es hat an nichts gefehlt. Es war perfekt, um die schöne Meeresbrise und die entspannte Atmosphäre zu genießen. Francesco war unglaublich nett und stets gut erreichbar, was den Aufenthalt noch angenehmer gemacht hat. Wir haben Wasser, Bier und Gutscheine für ein Cafe bekommen, die wir auch direkt eingelöst haben. Ich kann diese Unterkunft nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen, wenn man einen ruhigen und entspannte Ort zum entspannen haben möchte. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Soggiorno perfetto! L’alloggio è curatissimo in ogni dettaglio, con un arredamento davvero stupendo che rende l’ambiente accogliente e confortevole. È dotato di tutto ciò che serve per soggiorni brevi o anche un po’ più lunghi: dalla cucina ben attrezzata agli spazi organizzati con intelligenza. L’host è stata estremamente disponibile, sempre pronta a rispondere con gentilezza a qualsiasi domanda o necessità. La posizione è eccellente, ideale per esplorare Palermo a piedi e godersi la città senza stress. Un’esperienza che consiglio vivamente e che spero di ripetere!

Leti's apartment was great. We had a private outdoor terrace/balcony where we watched the world go by when we weren't out ourselves. There is a plethora of restaurants and other amenities all within walking distance. The kitchen was well equipped for the 2 dinners we made there, all with supplies from the grocery store down the street. The 2 separate washrooms were also very convenient with 4 of us staying there. We very much appreciated the coffee maker, which brewed American-style coffee. There was also an espresso machine Leti's apartment was a great spot from which to explore the strip in Modello and the surrounding area. Thanks very much, Leti!

Would highly recommend staying here. It is spotlessly clean and equipped with everything needed. The view from the balcony is stunning and it is also next to restaurants. Very easy to walk everywhere. We hope to come back one day.

Had a lovely stay in Palermo, the apartment was spotless and very comfortable and close to all restaurants/bars/train station. Brigitte was a great host and very responsible and helpful with all of our questions. Definitely recommend!

Vi havde en magisk uge i Vincenzos lejlighed med vores lille baby på 7 måneder. Lejligheden og udsigten er bedre og smukkere i virkeligheden end på billederne. Dejlig rummelig, sval og med alt du har brug for til at lave mad, hygge, nyde en øl mens du skuer ud over Middelhavet. Det midt i den gamle bydel med barer og restauranter og strand lige nede foran, så der er masser af leben. Det passede super godt til os. Kommunikationen med Vincenzo og Elisabetta var i top. Kan virkelig anbefale at bo her.

The location in Piazza Marina was perfect, right in the heart of the historic center, with charming streets, great restaurants, and local markets just steps away. The apartment itself was spotless, stylish, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I especially appreciated the thoughtful touches and how peaceful it was, even in such a lively area. Communication was also very easy and friendly. I really recommend this place for a very authentic vibe!

Angela war eine sehr freundliche Gastgeberin! Sie hat uns sehr herzlich willkommen geheißen. Die Kommunikation mit Angela war sehr angenehm und einfach. Sie empfiehl uns für den Abend direkt unten am Strand die Pizzeria aufzusuchen, diese war wirklich top und sicherlich die beste Pizza des gesamten Urlaubs! Die Wohnung und die Terrasse gefiel uns sogar besser wie dies von den Fotos ersichtlich war. Es war sehr sauber, die Küche war mit allem notwendigen ausgestattet. Ebenso das Bad, welches auch über eine Waschmaschine verfügte. Rundum war es eine super Wohnung mit einer tollen und ruhigen Lage, wenige Meter vom Zentrum Balestrate entfernt. Ebenfalls war es toll, dass die Wohnung weniger Meter vom Strand entfernt war, sodass man mit einem Bier oder Wein auch mal einen schönen Sonnenuntergang am Strand genießen konnten. Sollten wir uns nochmal für ein paar Tage in Balestrate entscheiden, würden wir nicht zögern und sofort gerne wieder bei Angela in der Wohnung unterkommen!
