I was looking for a place to stay that was easy to access, clean, great price, has good parking, close to activities for my grandchildren, and has a very friendly and communicative host. Melba's little cabin is amazing. Don't just stay somewhere nice, stay somewhere unique and wonderful! From the custom details in the house to the adorable animals just across the fence (especially the little pig), this cabin was a heartwarming, peaceful experience we'll never forget. Close to great dining, too and of course Smith Mountain Lake. Thank you, Melba and family. We hope to come back.

My husband and I had a spectacular time during our stay! The place was cozy and utterly peaceful. Along with the breathtaking view of the lake, as chefs we enjoyed the great kitchen lol. Katie is super responsive and even allowed us to come back and look for my husband’s wedding band. Thank God we found it. I cannot wait to come back. I think we found our SML vacation spot forever lol. 10/10 recommend to others.
