It is the heart of the Maas-Schwalm-Nette International Nature Park. It offers a typical Lower Rhine landscape with 12 lakes, 70 km of cycling and 145 km of hiking trails. The landscape-typical, original flora and fauna can be admired in lovingly maintained natural protection facilities. Supermarket and bakery in walking distance. The highway 61 can be reached in about 8 km. Kaldenkirchen train station 7 is about km away. From there you can get directly via the Dutch border to Venlo and also in the other direction directly to Düsseldorf. Your home: The first floor of our detached house is your personal oasis of well-being for the duration of your stay. Since the summer of 2001 we have been happy to welcome our guests, who include everyone from the family with children to nature lovers to the assembly worker, who moves to Nettetal and the surrounding area. Our apartment offers about 60 m² of space for up to 4 people in 2 separate double rooms. We had contact with both Marieke and Den, and they radiate genuine kindness - while still giving you all the privacy you need. It was a great place to stay in a great quiet and rural location. You can take beautiful hikes there and in the surrounding area. You can easily stay there with several people, have breakfast on the private terrace, etc. The hosts are very friendly, helpful, but not intrusive or anything. However, one should note that there are several cats and also the family's dogs living there and one should be considerate accordingly (dogs on a leash on the property, terrace is unproblematic!😊). We were there with 4 dogs and were very nicely received. We'll be back😊

For us, everything came together well. One very clean house, with all the accessories you could wish for. One enclosed private garden, where our dogs could walk outside. Renate was a perfect host, she gave us a feeling of welcome and was very accessible if we had a question. There is a lot to do in the area, we stayed with Renate for a week, but were not bored yet. For us, an ideal place to relax and unwind. We may come back.

We were on site for a weekend and had a great time! The garden is just wonderfully beautiful. Also in the huge pool you can spend the whole day. In the evening we made a bonfire and were able to end the day. The provided gas grill is sufficient to grill for many people. For a large group just a great location, we will be happy to come back.
