Our stay at Abby's place was just perfect. After a rough start (email in junk folder !), Abby helped us super quickly even on a late friday evening and was super supportive all WE long. She kindly extended our stay by a couple of hours for the kids to enjoy the view of the lake (stunning btw !) a little longer. A must do in the area !

If you’re looking for the perfect getaway in the mountains, look no further! The Bear Den Cottage was beautiful inside and out with plenty of things to do if you get hit with the Northeastern rain! Charmingly decorated with a fantastic outdoor entertainment area. All the fun poconos activities were in a reasonable driving distance from the cottage, and the best spot to rest after a long day whitewater rafting! Thanks again for opening your space to us!

What a great stay! Appreciated all the toiletries, little things like pantry items, ground coffee, shampoo/conditioner/soap, etc. Played some slap cup on the porch hopefully before 10pm, and did our best to tidy, clean the grill, all the things. Would recommend! By the way: the dock is across the street down that gravel path alongside the house that has 4 decks (house itself is not right on the water, but close enough).

Thankfully the space was much larger than anticipated. Absolutely spotless, very comfortable. I would note to make sure that your Bluetooth is switched ON so it can connect with the App to unlock the doors. Very easy process, just plan ahead to download the app provided in the instructions. Everything was within a short distance. I thoroughly enjoyed the coffee shop, which was only a few dozen feet away down the hill at the old Silk Factory where many food, brew, and other businesses reside. I made my way downtown and within a short time, made some new friends at some of the local haunts. The house itself is absolutely wonderful and peaceful. I didn’t have time to take advantage of the outside amenities. But it is quite private with a large outdoor space for barbecuing along with a hammock and outdoor hangs. The kitchen & Bathrooms were well equipped with everything that I needed. Very easy instructions, I will definitely stay here again!
