A lot of love and hard work went into making Nate’s place the comfort that it was. We loved the amenities throughout the place and the location is a short drive to Duck, NC. Although we only stayed one night, we’d absolutely consider staying a week or two in the future. Be sure to read and fill out the visitor log! Nate, thank you again, we’ll surely be back!

I have stayed here several times and it has always been spotless. I have been working on our house nearby and needed a place to stay. amAnd after a hard day it's great to come to the Duck Inn, kick back in the recliner and relax . Also Carol has always responded to my questions in a timely manner. I can honestly say that I will be staying here again.

So thankful that we found this place! The home is spacious and well laid out. The furniture and bedding was clean and comfortable. Backyard with pool and Blackstone make it even more appealing. Our family really enjoyed our stay. Maureen was very responsive with any questions and super friendly. The best part for my family was having the living room and the sun room in the back (with the cool doggy door) so we could all relax and rest between our scheduled activities. Would DEFINITELY recommend her place and will be looking to stay there again when in the area.

The River House was the perfect getaway for a month. The location is removed enough to feel peaceful and serene, yet a quick drive into town for groceries didn’t feel daunting. Some highlights: - The sunroom is a huge perk and we loved reading in there - Hosts provided lots of fun ways to enjoy the property and water - kayaks, floaties, outdoor seating, fire pit, etc - Joan is the nicest, friendliest point of contact. Couldn’t have asked for a better host - The entire house is super well stocked, including anything & everything you could need in the kitchen, tons of extra towels, and snuggly blankets to use on the couch
