Private pool villa near Paje beach

TimRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We stayed for almost two weeks in Karin’s villa and extended our stay twice on short notice—both times without any issues. Karin was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The property itself is spacious and well-protected by Masai guards day and night. We found the location to be perfect for Paje—close enough to explore the area on foot during the day, yet far enough from the nightlife to enjoy a peaceful rest at night. The villa is truly unforgettable. The open design of the living and kitchen area creates a stunning atmosphere, especially when all the doors and windows are open. The kitchen is well-equipped and perfect for preparing delicious meals with the amazing local ingredients and spices. The lush garden, filled with beautiful plants and trees, makes the outdoor space incredibly inviting. We loved spending entire days by the pool, just relaxing and enjoying the tranquility of this wonderful place. We highly recommend staying here and would love to return!
The villa's elegant facade features a large terrace and vibrant floral accents, framed by palm trees. A spacious swimming pool reflects the structure, inviting relaxation. Light-colored walls and large windows enhance the airy atmosphere, showcasing the blend of comfort and tropical beauty.

Villa Zuhura in Zanzibar

GlenRating, 5 stars4 months ago
Cynthia's home was perfect for our family. Home was exactly as what was in the picture. Upstairs area of home was open, bright, and welcoming. Ester rhe housekeeper was very accommodating, what ever we needed, she would make it happen. The clear glistening pool was my getaway spot. The home was in a quiet area, but only a few minutes from shopping, this was the perfect location for us. I would definitely recommend this home.

Incredible Stay – Highly Recommend! From the moment we arrived, everything about this Airbnb exceeded our expectations. The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described in the listing—if not better. Every detail, from the cozy linens to the well-equipped kitchen, made us feel right at home. Our host was incredibly responsive, friendly, and thoughtful. They provided helpful local recommendations and even left a few welcoming touches that made our stay extra special. The location was perfect—peaceful and quiet, yet close to all the attractions, restaurants, and shops we wanted to explore. We truly appreciated the attention to detail and the effort that went into making this such a comfortable and memorable experience. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again and are already looking forward to our next visit. Thank you for an unforgettable stay!

Villa Meravigliosa a Zanzibar

DavidRating, 5 stars4 months ago
Our stay in Uroa was wonderful. Emanuele put us in touch with his property manager who helped us with everything from airport transfers, setting up tours and even getting some medicine when some of our family came down with the flu. Uroa is a little bit remote in terms of amenities but that is what we were looking for. There are a few local restaurants within walking distance on the beach but not much more than that. We enjoyed walking the beach every day, swimming and wading out to the sand bar at low tide. There are also people/companies on the beach if you want to setup snorkeling tours or watersports. The caretaker and the housekeeper do a wonderful job keeping up the property and the housekeeper even made a few meals for us with the groceries we bought in Stonetown! The house was beautiful and in good repair. Beds were good and the pool was great to relax in. Overall, it was a very relaxing stay, just what we needed at the end of our trip to Tanzania!

Popo House, an eco beach house, quiet, private

I stayed there with two friends. The reception was very well arranged, Jo is a wonderful hostess, who was always there for us. Also very nice that all sorts of things were present such as herbs, oil etc. But the most beautiful thing was really the location. Not normally beautiful, loved it!! Cottage was also very cute and cozy and clean! I would recommend to anyone

Amazing, quiet and beautifull place that is even better than the photos. Friendly and responsive staff and good and well priced food. Really nice pool which we used a lot do to the heat, as the Ocean is really warm. 28-29 cel in feb. We loved the quiet surroundings in the villa and really at home. The Local community just outside the door was amazing to interact with and the Move Zanzibar community center just 250 m from the villa is a must. Seing the fishernan come in with the tides and all food they harvest in the Ocean is just outside the door. Just go there🤩especially if you like place that is away from the massive tourist crowds up north near Nungwi Biggest recommandations from us. 6 people (16-49) from Denmark and we the entire villa1. We were there in feb 2025. Thomas

Kacho house

ParisRating, 5 stars12 months ago
Our family of five had a beautiful time at Kacho House in Jambiani. The house was neat and clean and accommodated our family quite well. Habibu was a wonderful host and the beautiful Dada (sister) came every morning to cook breakfast for us, complete with fresh fruit, eggs, chapati, and freshly squeezed juice~it was delicious! My son had eaten something at a restaurant and had a bad case of food poisoning. We asked the Dada to go to the pharmacy and get something and she came back with a handful of fresh green herbs she picked from the garden. She made tea with the herbs and he was much better after drinking it. There is nothing like nature's pharmacy! Thank you again Dada for helping us! The beach was lovely, serene, and pristine, and the villagers were so nice and welcoming. The Maasai men and other locals were there selling their gorgeous beadwork, wood, leather, and other crafts, and we also found a few arts and crafts shops as we walked around the village. It was a wonderful trip!

Private Condo in Heart of Paje

RaheeRating, 5 stars6 months ago
My husband and I stayed at Breathe's apartment at the Soul for a few days in Paje and without hesitation would stay again and recommend to anyone coming to visit Paje. The location is perfect - steps away from the main road with many restaurants closeby (we loved BaraBara, Roots Bistro, and Hanoi House) and a 5 minute walk from the beach. The Soul is a safe, gated complex with a small cafe as well as an incredible pool. Breathe is a wonderful and responsive host and connected us with a reliable driver Abdul, and her apartment manager Gilly - both of whom made our stay easy. The apartment was air-conditioned, comfortable, and full of beautiful art. We hope to stay again!

We had an excellent stay at Elite Garden, its a new property and is squeaky clean. Very friendly and helpful host. Always responsive and gave us local tips for places near Jambiani area as well as Zanzibar. Breakfast and Lunch was really delicious. Overall services and hospitality was beyond our expectation frankly. We stayed just for 2 days, but wish we stayed a bit longer. Overall I would highly recommend this place.

Rafiki Zanzibar Residence

RomyRating, 5 stars4 months ago
I decided to live in this guesthouse and not a hotel, because I really value family life. Exactly this wish and demand for my trip, to live together with locals and to make many contacts, was met by the Rafiki guest house. It is one of the cheaper accommodations in Zanzibar because it is not a comfortable hotel - but the focus is on being together, which I really appreciate. If you would like to establish close, friendly contacts quickly and easily, this guesthouse is really perfect for you because all the guests who live there and the owners of the guesthouse are incredibly open and helpful. William even picked me up from the airport and organized excursions and tours for me through acquaintances and friends. In the evenings we ate and partied together in the kitchen under open skies :) For me, this is the unique aspect of Rafiki Guesthouse: It creates honest and lasting friendships!
A private pool is visible, featuring clear turquoise water surrounded by stone edges. Two lounge chairs with striped fabric are placed nearby, accompanied by a floating ring and a bowl. Natural vegetation borders the area, creating a serene atmosphere.

New Luxueuse Villa

SenabRating, 5 stars4 months ago
Amazing stay! We stayed in Uroa for three weeks and everything was nice! The pictures don’t describe the house in real life.. it’s even nicer. Also the entertainment is good. Unlike other reviews the electricity didn’t get cut off all the time but only once. Also facility manager and security guard in the house are very nice and polite. When you had a request they made sure that you get it. 10/10 would recommend and come again!
