Vacation rentals in Nungwi Beach

Dear Kamelia and Leonhard, Thank you for the loving and caring hospitality. We felt very comfortable with you and enjoyed our vacation. The neighbor's beeping water pump was a bit annoying, but you can't do anything about it. You can hardly hear the Muizin and at night it is very quiet except for the ravens and the rooster in the morning 😅 Everything worked well technically and the power outages were almost unnoticed. We enjoyed the pool very much because the water was always well tempered. Maybe you could put the clothesline in the sun instead of in the narrow shady backyard next to the generator (just as a tip). The location is very good, as the supermarket and fruit stands are right nearby, but it would be better to go to the beach by bike or car. It is very far to walk because the adjacent resorts block the short path and you have to take detours. Thanks Kamelia for your insider tips. I can only recommend it. Will be happy to come back 🙏❤️😊☀️

I didn’t have to worry about a thing—the staff took care of everything and were incredibly friendly, especially Ali. Habib was also helpful and responsive even though I booked last minute. I highly recommend this place for relaxation; it’s absolutely surreal! One of the best places I’ve ever been.

Fukuchani Inn is wonderful - the staff is pleasant, kind, and very willing to help with whatever you might need. Everyone was friendly and we had a wonderful stay. The Inn is right near the ocean, a quick little walk to a beautiful (albeit rocky) beach, and it's very close (about 15 mins) from Nungwi beach. And the pool is lovely! We stayed in the 2-bedroom Villa and it was perfect for my family, plenty of space and very clean. And of course I have to mention Daisy, the basset hound!! Such a friendly and good girl :) We would love to come back one day - overall, great stay :) Friendly reminder to travelers, Tanzania and Zanzibar often have power outages, and this includes A/C - but they only lasted a few mins each time, and the staff aims to provide as comfortable a stay as possible.

I have been visiting Zanzibar for years. This place is a great. I highly recommend. I hang out pretty late. So have your transportation arranged. Place is a great location, not far from the beach or local night life. In the daytime I had not problem walking to the main road (<5mins) hailing a Boda Boda (Motobike taxi). But it can be an hit or miss.

We loved everything about our stay at Villa Funga. The house was everything the pictures had promised; spacious, cool decor, fantastic pool (the water was actually cooling), attentive staff - and beautifully located on the beach. Plenty of nice restaurants at resorts nearby, especially if you love seafood. Local groceries can be found at the local marked a short walk from the house. All in all just a wonderful place!

I enjoyed my stay at this Airbnb, however it is further from the beach than described and not in a walkable area. There is a significant electrical issue, that causes appliances to not work at night. Including the refrigerator, and AC. Pros: very convenient co-host Shebby ( great at planning activities) , very responsive and quick to correct issues, 24/7 security, cleanliness. I would still recommend this Airbnb to anyone wishing to stay in kendwa at a good price Cons: electrical issue affects; A/C , refrigerator and more. Stove does not work. Mattresses are extremely uncomfortable,

Ommy’s House in Kendwa Beach is the perfect place to stay! The accommodation is not only great value for money but also looks even better in person than in the pictures. It’s clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The location is excellent—just a 10-15 minute walk to a beautiful beach, with grocery shops conveniently nearby. The kitchen is fully equipped, making it easy to prepare meals. But what truly sets this place apart is Omar, the host. He went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable—helping with transfers, booking airline tickets, giving great recommendations, and even taking us to shops. He also organized various excursions at very reasonable prices. Omar is, without a doubt, the best host I have ever met. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Kendwa!

It was simply a wonderful vacation.
