Beautiful garden, with great facilities including a lovely and stunning views from the hills of Emilia Romagna. The kitchen is bright and we-equipped. The house generally is charming - welcoming and wonderfully decorated with lemon motifs everywhere. Miriam was welcoming and communicated in great time. And the cat is a sweetheart. Highly recommended to families and larger groups.

From a long retired couple... Very enjoyable week's stay during September in Ruth's spacious, clean, comfortable and comprehensively equipped, family oriented villa. Ideal base for local hiking (which we didn't) and surprisingly well located, given its fairly remote position, for sampling good quality nearby restaurants (which we did). Good scope for cultural and shopping trips: eg. Bologna, Faenza, Dozza (delightful) and outlet centres incl. Barberino (convenient and extensive). We found Ruth to be a very welcoming, helpful and accessible host with a ready wealth of local knowledge - a much underrated asset that certainly enhanced our visit. 6Stanco - go for it!

The apartment is small but very pleasant and comfortable because the space has been perfectly used with predominantly wooden furniture. The kitchen is very well equipped and the cookware is new and plentiful, which is rare in accommodations! The courtyard in front of the front door is not great, while the balcony of the room enjoys a beautiful open view of the mountains. Roberto is very helpful. We just had to clarify a small issue regarding the cost of cleaning that was not indicated in the listing, but it was resolved quickly. I highly recommend this place.

A lovely spacious house, elegantly and stylishly furnished (AB&B photos don't really do it justice). Beautiful tranquil location - apart from the Apennine wolves we heard howling one night (a definite bonus in our book). Lovely walks from the house along the river Dolo gorge, and especially recommend the Golfarone waterfall about 25 mins drive away. A 15-minute scramble upriver brings you to a beautiful pool for swimming under the waterfall. Also lovely local neighbours, who offered us homemade wine and jam. Good local restaurants. Alessandro was extremely helpful and friendly.

Lara is a friendly and helpful hostess. We felt very comfortable with her. The apartment is on the lower floor, but nice and cool. The surrounding area and the space around the house are fantastic. Especially the large pool with the loungers under the trees. The sunsets while dining right by the pool will remain unforgettable to us. Fireflies can also be seen. The place is rather expensive, but superbly located. Also ideally suited for excursions. We will be happy to come back!

It was a really nice stay. The apartment is perfect for one person or even a couple. I liked that it was really close to the train station. There is a new part in front and Bologna is a really walkable city so moving was not a problem. I really recommend stay here and I wish to came back in the future!

Due to a very complicated move, I stayed alone at the property, unfortunately going back and forth to and from Bologna Working with animals and the garden, beautiful and completely fenced, really made a difference The house is charming as well as the view that frames it, priceless waking up to the view of our Apennines. So much silence that I feel - especially at night - almost intimidated :-) Beautiful break during which, at times, I was even able to regenerate myself I had some minor difficulties with the TV in the living room regarding channel synchronization, while everything was fine with the one in the bedroom Cleanliness and services offered completely in line with expectations Overall, I would absolutely recommend a stay at this charming property if you really want to unplug and carve out a space and a moment of relaxation and rest! Just 15 minutes for the train station walk in a lovely location which was so quiet even during the Coppa Italia winning night for Bologna FC. Very clean and spacious for a family of 2+2. Incudes all necessary equipment for a family to focus on holidays. Definitely a place to recommend and come back!

The residence is in a clean, quiet, and safe neighbourhood, with decent parking outside and a tight parking space inside (be careful if you're driving a large vehicle) which is gated. Neighbours are respectful and the street is lined up with trees, with a school at the back although you barely hear them. Medicina is an excellent location to drive to different places in the Reggio Emilia region, especially towards the coast & around 40 mins from Bologna airport. You can do a few good runs in the area with lovely countryside not too far away - just be wary of the cars on Via Sillaro when running. There's a lovely bedroom upstairs but we didn't use it as we used the two bedrooms adjacent to each other. The place was spotless and excellently kept (I believe it had a recent renovation too). The beds are great too, with highly comfortable mattresses and pillows. We spent 5 nights and are highly appreciative of the lovely experience, including from the host (Diana) herself.

We spent one night on our way to Italy. Stefano was welcoming us and showed the place to us personally. Village and area is beautiful even in winter. Could spend easily more time there. House was clean, we had everything we needeed and all went very well. Can recommend! Mille Grazie!

This is the second time they have stayed at Federica's and everything has always been comfortable, clean and without major problems. Federica is always available and ready to give advice even on the surroundings. We stayed with her to be able to work at the fair, the distance is about 15 minutes by car and convenient to reach. You are away from the hustle and bustle in the middle of nature and after tiring days it is a pleasure to return.

We had a really pleasant stay in this cozy apartment with attention to the smallest details. The apartment is immersed in the tranquility of the Modena Apennines, an ideal place for those looking to disconnect from the daily hustle and bustle. Nearby are several hiking trails, perfect for exploring the surrounding nature. Sergio and his wife were exceptional hosts: kind, helpful and never intrusive. Highly recommended for a rejuvenating break!

Practical and effective accommodation, especially if you need a good place to spend the night. A friend of mine and I have already stayed in this room last year, and it was again a guarantee, in all respects. Quiet and above all strategic location to quickly reach surrounding areas and cities. Professional host, friendly and always available to give advice or useful information.

I immediately fell in love with this wonderful home and it was a lightning bolt. I wasn't wrong. We had a great time as it has everything you might need. The beautiful outdoor spaces were very appreciated by our dogs. Possibility of parking both inside and outside the house. Tommaso was very kind and helpful, we really appreciated it. The house has been restored beautifully and is a very peaceful location, perfect for a few nights after being busy in Milan and before we head to Pisa. Bed very comfortable, all v clean and new bathrooms. Great communication with Luca. Would recommend if you want a bit of R and R, although there is Castiglione deli Popoli down the road for restaurants and bars (10 min drive)

The place was much bigger inside than the photos show. It was spacious and had everything we needed. There is a double bed in one room with an on suite bathroom. There is also a single bed next to another bathroom. This room did smell a bit damp but I think these old buildings are like this sometimes. The place was really clean with the most amazing view! We all loved it so much ❤️
