Several years (and many lessons learned later), it has evolved in a way we could not have imagined, and we're excited to share it with you. …Last week, my wife and I took a much anticipated trip to the Hudson Valley, a region we love. We’ve recently thought about buying a second home there, a cozy cabin space to which we can escape our hectic lives in New Jersey. My wife found this cabin on Airbnb and the pictures convinced us we’d be in lovely surroundings. The pictures, however, don’t come close to doing the place justice. We set foot inside and had the same reaction we did when we first walked into our current home. It was perfect, the house we’ve dreamed about without knowing it. A beautifully converted garage, it has high ceilings, gorgeous wood walls, and every imaginable comfort. Vanessa and Susie have thought of everything. The house is immaculate, and the grounds are attractive and secluded, with good restaurants and shopping just a few miles away in Chatham or Hudson. As soon as we drove away, we wanted to reserve another week in this peaceful and rustic-luxurious home.…
