…We had a great stay at The Perch Cottages and hope to return in the future! It was the right balance of convenience and access to nature for our family.

Erika was super responsive and was able to have a pack-n-play and high chair waiting for us, which meant we didn't need to travel with as much kid's stuff (a parenting win!).

The cottage looked just like the photos and had everything you would expect in a nice hotel / airbnb. The property is beautiful and we loved walking down to the creek with our kids and dog. The propane fire pits were easy to use and perfect for smores. I was so pleased to see that there was a deck box with yard games, hula hoops and other outdoor activities. My kids loved playing with them and everything was well maintained.

The location is convenient to a lot of Catskills highlights: Phoenicia Diner, Woodstock, Kingston, etc. We can't wait to come back!…

…Perfect gateway for a long weekend.
Charming house, sauna was awesome, bad weather forecast but still had a lot fun, host was friendly to us, Wish I could stay one more day but wasn't available. well instill next rime..

…Our Stay at The Perch

We had the best time staying at The Perch! One of our favorite things was playing in the big play area — there were so many fun things to do, and lots of space to run around. We played tag, frisbee, and even badminton!

The cottage was super cozy and comfortable. It felt like a little home and we loved just hanging out inside.

We also did some awesome adventures. We went to the Esopus Creek and did fishing, stone skimming, and played in the water — it was so much fun! At Minnewaska State Park, we hiked two trails. The first one took us to a waterfall (going up was kinda hard but cool!), and the second one led us to the lake where we had to climb a mountain. We even went to the Visitor Center and did a leaf stamp activity!

We also visited Bear Mountain and played more games there too. And our lunch by the creek was super yummy — we really enjoyed it.

We loved everything about The Perch and can’t wait to come back again!…

…Place was great, house was clean and well stocked. The property was very relaxing and fun; fire pits, sauna, and the river were all great.…
