My husband and I love Jesus, family, and people! The best part about hosting is meeting the delightful variety of guests who come to share our little slice of the forest in search of respite from the hustle and bustle of city lights, noise, and busy living. …Lisa's place is the serene escape everyone deserves to have! From the moment we stepped out of our cars and into the space we could just feel ourselves begin to relax. The scent of the trees, the sounds of the birds, the beauty of the pond...all of it! Inside is as much of a treat as outside. Lisa's place is cozy, so clean(!), and thoughtfully decorated. The beds are so comfortable, and the little loft area must be absolutely magical for children. There was nothing we needed that wasn't provided. Just one more thing to note: Lisa is so very thoughtful. We had reserved a date to hike a segment of the IAT and she took the initiative to call me and let me know that a late ice storm had made the trail impassable. We wouldn't have known if she hadn't called me, so I was very thankful she did. This is truly one of those rare places you come across where you can tell the owners put their hearts and souls into providing the perfect place. I can't wait to return!…
