We had a fantastic time at the Roost. It was clean, tidy and modern, in a beautiful location which was easy to access. It is also dog friendly which was very important for us. We will definitely be staying again.

Pepper Cottage is wonderful, so light and airy and very well equipped with everything you need. Easy to get to Ambleside, Coniston and Hawkshead. Tarn Hows is must and so picturesque. Will and Giles are excellent hosts and respond to queries very quickly and send very concise details which are helpful during a stay. We were very impressed by the kitchen and all of its equipment and the whole cottage was very clean. The views from the patio and the quiet location make it perfect for a break in The Lakes.

A great place for an escape while being close enough to Coniston village for convenience. Will and Gile were extremely proactive with all their communications to the point that I barely had to enquire about anything on the lead up to our stay. The cottage may look small but once you enter there's plenty of nooks and space for a big group and the garden outside is full of surprises and is well kept. The private parking spot was very useful and was easy to get to. We had a lovely stay and definitely would recommend. It's always a good sign when you are sad to leave upon checking out.

We had a lovely time staying at the Craftsman’s Loft, the cottage was exactly as we expected from the pictures and description. There was everything that we needed and the guests guide was a brilliant aspect, with some brilliant ideas. The place was perfectly located for what we wanted to do and lots of amenities we could have asked for.
