Kelmscott Chapel

This historic structure was built in 1909 for the local catholic parish and served as such until the 1970's. A portion of the church was then converted to a residence and has also served as a wedding venue for over twenty years. Now called Kelmscott Chapel, a nod to William Morris and the arts and crafts movement, you will find warm and inviting accommodations. Complete with stained glassed windows, spiral staircases, and decorated with mission style furniture - enjoy a visit like no other.

Your co-host lives upstairs in case you need anything, but will completely respect your privacy. There is no need for AC as it’s nice and cool in the summer and comfortably warm in the winter. The apartment is equipped with an IKEA mini-kitchen including a full fridge, microwave, toaster oven, and induction cooktop. Enjoy summer evenings on the back deck.

Property is on a hillside, so guests are required to use steps and slanted walkways. We live above the suite and would like to share this beautiful place with you. This is a fully furnished open floor plan efficiency located on 40 acres of farmland. There is a generator to assure power in case of a power outage. It is equipped with HD premium Dish,Wi Fi, and a full kitchen with all appliances & housewares. A well provides the water, and is a very good quality. The hot water is on demand. It is located next to a pond and fire pit. It is not suitable for children under twelve years of age and maximum occupancy is two.
