Beachfront vacation rentals in Ouistreham

The rental is true to the description and photos, no cheating. The host was available for each of my messages. I really enjoyed the small touches (complimentary bottle of cider which was very good by the way). Hand soap, toilet paper, tissues, sponges are little things that we sometimes forget and it was nice to have them on site. If I had to criticize, it would be the animal hair on the kitchen towels but even that's not it because I knew the rental accepted animals and that's the game. So to conclude, only positive things to say, I would recommend it.

The hostess was very friendly and accommodating and responded very quickly. The space was well equipped. There was even salt, pepper, olive oil and enough toilet paper. The bed was very comfortable. I was pleased about the flowers on the terrace. They needed some water. In 5 minutes you were on the beach, the location is quiet, perfect for the dogs.

A jewel near the sea! We were really happy with Brigitte’s place. It has Seaview, super nice little garden with Seaview as well and very well equipped with everything you need as a family of four ! The beds were comfy and the washing machine and dishwasher was a plus ! Valerie helped us to do the check-in and check out and was also very kind and helpful . We would love to come back if Brigitte would have us !

Hello Jean-Christophe, there were four of us from 4/14 to 4/24/25 in the beautiful Chalet sur Mer. We give 5 stars for the property and service. We are really completely satisfied. The chalet was very clean, it is appealing and friendly furnished and designed, everything you need is there. The beds are very good. The communication with Melanie was excellent, she responded to questions immediately, was polite and helped immediately. The square of the chalet on the complex is very quiet, the space around the chalet is sufficiently large. The proximity to the sea as described, great. We spent 2 days visiting the sights related to D-Day and Operation Overlord with our children. The home is directly on the dunes at Omaha Beach and served as a perfect home-base. While a little dated, we enjoyed the simple charm.

Perfectly located accommodation, minutes from the beach on foot. The sea view is lovely. The accommodation is clean, well arranged and with all the necessities (there is even a booster seat and a step-stool for children!). Thanks to Audrey for her smile and hosting us. We had a lovely stay!

1 night spent with my spouse, my children and with grandma Nothing to say, it was impeccable, clean, activity for the little ones. Super Sebastien was always attentive if we needed anything, warm, kind and his wife is also lovely. You can go there without so much as a second thought. ☺️

We were beyond impressed with Dany and Elodie's Airbnb. Their self-contained flat is simple and clean while also catering for every circumstance you may need in your own home. We were happy to see a secure, private decent sized garden for us to use. After a long day out exploring it was an added bonus to relax in the hot tub. Thank you both for aiding in a memory of our lovely little French holiday. We would love to come back again in the future to do all the things we didn't get to do in your beautiful part of the world.

Spacious clean house and beautiful rustic-chic interior. Garden, small heated outdoor pool and pool table perfect to keep the Kids of screens. Perfect location in short walking distance to the beach and towns.

nice and clean house. beds slept fine. wifi was good. house fully furnished. contact with host was nice and close ( walking distance less than 10 minutes) the beach . Swimming pool also well and nicely located. in short, we ( 4 people) had a great time and would love to come back. regards, Mieke

The accommodation is true to the photos and description. Clean accommodation. The instructions provided by hosts are clear. Communication is seamless. The place is quiet and near the sea. Only small downside: The pipe odors in the shower room are a little persistent.

The house is perfect and as described. the garden is lovely. The beach is 2 minutes away which is perfect with a nice walk along the water with cafes/restaurants nearby. house suitable for children with bed, high chair, etc. Stéphanie came to welcome us which is very nice. Accommodating and very kind, she made it easy to enter and exit the accommodation. Thanks! We'll be back with pleasure.

This house, both bright and beautifully decorated, offered us a pleasant stay with family. We were able to have our meals on the terrace as the weather was so nice with a sea view, and enjoyed the warmth of the wood stove in the evening. (Consider buying wood from the store next door or picking it up on the beach) Very good stay. Everything is designed to make you feel good.

Good value house in the middle of Lion sur Mer. Kitchen is well equipped, beds are super comfortable. There could be a bit more chilling space, the seating area is a bit limited. For us it wasn't a problem as we were lucky with the very un-Normand weather - but if it had been raining a lot and we had had to spend more time inside, it could have been a bit harder, especially for the kids. The whole house overall is a bit on the small-ish side - but then again, everything you need is there. The heating works very well, a bit too well at times - as the house can feel quite cold, it blasts hot air, which is great for not feeling cold, but can feel a bit suffocating. I'm nit picking, clearly, but we had a great time in the house, and would definitely come back for another stay.

Exceptional stay in a house where nothing was missing! Located just a short walk to the beach, and close to other major cities, we were able to recharge in a beautiful, peaceful setting and close to museums and historical sites in the area! Lots of kitchen utensils, comfortable bedding, and a big thank you to Sandrine who we couldn't meet on arrival, but with whom we were still able to communicate via phone and who was always very responsive. We highly recommend it and will come back sometime with great pleasure! Thank you for the welcome gifts finally!!! We look forward to welcoming you!

Very warm and friendly welcome, available. Spacious house with all amenities, beach access, very well located for landing beaches and museums. We had a great time in Avignon.
