Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Osterøy Municipality

We stayed for 3 nights and really enjoyed this beautiful place. Even though its part of a bigger (beautiful!) house because it is across 2 floors the apartment feels spacious. It's very beautifully decorated and feels cosy and warm. The views across the fjord are incredible and seem to change every time you look out of the window. Aleksander and Johanne were responsive, friendly and helpful. The Thai restaurant opposite is fantastic too. The only thing we missed was a comfy chair or sofa - and slippers for our little girl to wear on the wooden floor whilst she was rushing around at speed (bit slippy/splintery in a couple of places). I'm sure this wouldn't affect adults or older kids though! She LOVED the bath and bathroom! The outdoor deck area is lovely, despite a lot of rain during our stay we made use of it. There's a rowing boat you can borrow and sauna to hire too - we didn't as our daughter a bit young but would be great fun! A great place to stay in a beautiful part of Norway!

Everything was perfect for our stay, and we found the peace and the beauty of the landscapes that we hoped for from Jan, his house and from Tyssebotn. The description is faithful to reality, and Jan is really available to provide information and help us discover this magnificent fjord, its history and its boat! The house is very warm and has all modern comforts, basic cleaning kits, linens, dishes and fast Wifi. Tyssebotn has a grocery store which helped us a lot, even offering coffees with a warm and friendly welcome!

Hilde's place was amazing! huge place with several bedrooms and all the facilities you would need, and stunning views to top it. we loved the cat, Oscar, too! Hilde was really communicative and responded quickly when we had questions. We stayed as a group of six friends and had a great time!

We had a lovely week at Fredrik and Trine’s. A perfect place to stay if you have young children. The house had everything we needed for our 1 year old daughter - including plenty of toys! Very clean and in a beautiful location.

Wonderful property in an amazing location with a magnificent view of the Fjords! The surroundings are superbly scenic and peaceful, at the same time there are enough activities to keep the kids busy (our group had 2 boys - 5 and 7 years old respectively. Karina and Erlend are wonderful hosts, responsive and considerate, and have taken really good care of keeping the house in immaculate condition. Connectivity to Bergen and onwards cruises for the Fjords is not too far, and in fact one can really do some good day trips from the property itself. Highly, highly recommended and a big thanks once again to Karina and Erlend!!

This place is fantastic. Super cozy house, everything was ready, well-prepared and clean on arrival! The terrace is the most beautiful part. There are great hikes reachable in walking distance from the house and overall Osterøy is a bit off the tourism track with outstanding spots for hikes and swims, which makes is a unique and calm experience. Synne answered all inquiries very promptly. Thank you so much for the lovely stay!!

Grethe Monika's apartment is great. The bus stop is very close, you can be in the city center in 20 minutes. There is a nice bakery close by, and also a shopping mall with a good food store. It is a residential area, very quiet and the aparment is private. Everything in it is modern and seems to be brand new, we had a very nice time here.

The hosts are very kind and helpful. Clean and quiet place.

Very friendly landlord who always makes sure that the guests are satisfied. Since we are active anglers, he invited us on a fishing tour and let us have the fish we caught. Had a very pleasant time there

A beautiful home, in a very quiet and peaceful place

A lovely and well equipped apartment to come home to after a day exploring the area and Bergen. The cute cups and vases with flowers, so thoughtful! We felt very much at home; the kitchen is able to cook very fully and nicely. Thank you Anders and Anne for hospitality!

Nice welcome by Magnhild's mother. Magnhild responds super quickly (within a minute) to messages and questions. Nothing too much to ask! Wonderful view on the fjord from the apartment. Within a 20-minute drive you are in Bergen city center so the location was also very nice. Our dogs were welcome in the apartment. At the school nearby we even made a beautiful hike on a mountain, just walking distance from the apartment. We had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend this!!

It was like being at home and the fact of leaving the apartment has even caused me some sadness. The place is beautiful and communication with Maria has always been effective and we have received an unbeatable treatment.

We had a great time, like being at home. The apartment was in perfect order and clean, matching the description and photos, very spacious and comfortable. We greatly appreciated the friendly welcome and helpfulness of Henrick and his girlfriend. The house is in a quiet neighborhood, well served by amenities and transport just minutes away, you can reach the center very easily. Free parking is very convenient for those traveling by car like us. We recommend it to everyone!! Thanks again for everything.

We really enjoyed staying at Havard’s place. The house is in the hills with beautiful views and is so well equipped and comfortable. You will need a car; Harvard provides a charging station. We found it easy to drive 8mins to the local village and catch a bus to the centre of Bergen. We didn’t have to wait more than 4mins for a bus which then takes 15mins to the Bryggen area. We enjoyed a couple of local walks from the house; there is the potential for longer hikes. We purchased 48hr Bergen Cards; but didn’t get the value from them so we wouldn’t recommend them. We have no hesitation in recommending this AirBnB.

A very nice and tastefully furnished apartment that leaves nothing to be desired. We have already been guests at Henriette's several times and we have always been extremely satisfied. Henriette is very accommodating and we look forward to being guests again. The apartment is very quiet. The very nearby shopping center is completely stocked and restaurants can also be visited here. The bus stop with many lines is only approx. 8 minutes walk.
