Calm and beautiful place with view of lake.

We (two adults and two children of 12 and 7) had great days in the great house of Mirko. Everything was as described in the listing and worked perfectly for us. The house was so nicely decorated and had everything we needed to have good days there. It was easy to walk the small walk down to the tram stop to get to the city centre and lovely to retreat to the peaceful area after days of much program. The kids were a great time with a trampoline in the garden and PlayStation inside, and we adults had coffee on the rooftop. We would love to come again!

Ole's home is beautiful, and well equipped, including loads of toys for our kids. The gardens have great spaces for all times of day and, along with the local area, are peaceful and made for an amazing but short stay for our family. Ole was a great host, nothing was too much trouble and he went above and beyond to make us feel at home on arrival. We'll be back in the winter, when the Viking museum has reopened.

We were 2 families with 4 children. The layout of the apartment was great, the equipment of the kitchen very good. The pizza oven and the orangery invite you to linger. The connection to the T-Bahn is very good, in the vicinity of 5 minutes walk there are bakeries and supermarkets. Our stay was great and we enjoyed the apartment despite sightseeing. Central location for a stay in Oslo, without the noise of downtown. Public transportation within a short walk. The home itself was comfortable and roomy. We had our family of 7 and it had enough small areas to have some alone time, balanced with larger gathering spaces. The open concept, with doors opening up to a lovely backyard and a sitting areas both inside and out, made for relaxing meals and evenings. Our host was proactive in her tips and suggestions, and responded quickly when we had questions. She was very welcoming and helped us feel at welcome in her home. This is indeed a sweet AirB&B.

Frode and Vidar's house is a real gem, conveniently located just a short ferry ride from the center of Oslo, offering breathtaking views of the majestic Fjord. It's a dream setting for anyone who wants to get away while staying close to the city. The interior of the house is perfectly equipped, with all the comforts necessary for a pleasant stay. In addition, the proximity to shops and public transport makes it as convenient as it is charming. One of the most magical moments of our stay was to be able to admire the Northern Lights right from the living room – an unforgettable sight and a rare privilege. I highly recommend this home for a unique experience in Norway.

Beautiful home. 2 minute walk to a small beach. Neighborhood setting - very quiet and relaxing. 15 min from downtown Oslo. Great for large parties (we had 11 adults). Excellent hostess. Loved our stay. Would highly recommend.

A lovely older home, newly renovated with up-to-date modern style and amenities. Lovely gathering spaces in living, dining, kitchen and two outdoor eating spaces. Bedrooms had room darkening shades which are important in June. Great location for tourists visiting Oslo, short distance to bus and tram systems that can take you most wherever you want to go. A great variety of restaurants in the area. Our group of adults was in town for a family wedding and some sight-seeing, so we never cooked in the kitchen and instead we ate lunch and dinner out and about every day. This home is also well suited to families with kids. Christian, our host, was very nice, helpful and responsive to our questions.

We stayed with seven friends for five days with Jonas and his family. Specifically, we want to highlight the location and the great views. If you want to have some peace and quiet but still want to see something from Oslo, it's just perfect. Go swimming in the morning, and then take the ferry 20 minutes directly to downtown Oslo. Perfect place for a break from the busy everyday life. Wonderful local and amenities. The stay met all the expectations (and more) and we will recommend the villa (and the host) to both known and unknown! The host was available, nice, respectable and communication was quick and good. We were written upon arrival with information about the amenities and recommendations in the local area. We really appreciated this! Check in and check out was easy and efficient. We will be back for sure, 10 out of 10 stays.

We were a bachelorette party of 10 women. All 45 and older. This was a magical place to celebrate and was full of charm. Very good space and amenities. Good contact with host, Ulla. Flexible check in and check out. We definitely made some great memories here.

Very unique place which I knew of from my youth. Not easy to house three generations - four families, but here it worked both inside and outside. Both adults and kids had places to congregate and activities to enjoy. Please note this is a home in daily use; not some 100% rental unit like many others. The walk through the sheep-meadow to the local bus stop is relaxing and unique. Make sure you download the “ruter” app which will guide you on how to reach Oslo area points of interest. You can survive with public transport as grocery store at Hosle bus stop, but a car going to Bekkestua will yield many more options for food, bakeries, coffeshops and liquor store. Finally a shoutout to the owners sister Carine. She lives with her family next door and is the daily manager. Always available and replies quickly with a smile! To paraphrase an old Norwegian advertising slogan; “no one above or alongside!”

Very good beds, tidy and clean. Hosting responded quickly and on the back page. We'd love to🌸 Easy to take a bus to Oslo, which had frequent departures. We had a very nice time in Oslo. The house is at the very end of a street, so we could let our children play outside completely reassured. From the kitchen to sleep and children's room, everything was perfectly equipped. There was even a room to play and a cinema screen. The pool was perfect and nice and big. We used it a lot. We could park our car directly on the property. At the supermarket there is a fast charger for our car right away. We will be happy to come back.
