Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Oslo

Christian’s house is in a beautiful place not far from Oslo that you can reach easily by boat shuttle. It’s a very pleasant place very peaceful and quiet. It’s not a professionnal rental so you will feel like a real norvegian in a real house living. Christian was a perfect guest…very attentive and easily reachable by text. Nice stay

It was a beautiful and spacious home, surrounded by nature. The house was well-equipped with all necessary facilities, including a parking area. We used a rental car for our trip, but the bus stop is conveniently located very close to the house. Our host, Anne, was extremely responsive to all our queries. There is also a lovely cat living on the property, adding to the charm of the place.

Communication with the host is very smooth and quick. The scenery around the accommodation is nice, and the amenities are very well equipped. It's near the end of the bus line, so transportation is good and the mart is close, so I highly recommend it.

We had a lovely stay at Kamilla and Per's. The house is very beautiful, clean and comfortable. The city center is easily accessible by public transport. The hosts are very nice, attentive and responsive :) Everything was perfect!

We were a group of 8 adults who were in Oslo to attend the Holmekoll Relay. The home we rented through Airbnb was so incredibly nice. This is an old house, where the owners have taken care of the history. It is close to Karl Johansgate and the Castle, in quiet beautiful surroundings. I would definitely recommend the home.

We were so happy here. Petter was very responsive and flexible. The location was amazing, right in middle of Oslo. Everywhere we wanted to go was absolutely walkable. Close to restaurants, bars and all the sights. Couldn't have asked for a better stay.

Susanne's house was really cozy and clean. Centrally located, and still in a very quiet neighborhood. She writes everything we needed to know. Great beds. Lovely place! Definitely recommend it!: -)

My partner and I stayed at Einar’s Airbnb on our first visit to Oslo. We absolutely loved it. The pictures of the apartment match exactly to what you get: it’s a modern, light, spacious apartment. Einar was very good at communicating. The instructions to enter and leave the apartment were clear. We’d highly recommend.

We were a family of five who enjoyed the apartment for a long weekend. The apartment itself is very nice. The bedrooms face a quiet backyard and the beds are good. The living rooms are cozy and nicely decorated. The location is very good with walking distance to the city center and districts such as Grunerløkka and Majorstuen. The area the apartment is located in also has a lot to offer in terms of restaurants and shops. If you can't walk, there are plenty of buses and trams nearby. Easy to find parking nearby and also a free parking space in the backyard. The host is positive and responds quickly. Recommended.

The apartment was perfect and in a very beautiful neighborhood. Olav was also a wonderful host. He answered all of our questions and was very kind. There was a lot to do in the neighborhood and lots of good food

In a world of soulless listings, Henriette's place is what AirBnb should be all about. A beautiful little apartment that feels like you're borrowing it from a local (which you are!). Super close to the station and walkable to Opera House, Gruner Lokke and central. Stylish decor, spotlessly clean, with great recommendations and help from Henriette. It was a joy to stay in.

This was our second time staying in Mari and David’s charming flat. As always, they were the perfect hosts. Check-in was incredibly easy, and Mari and David are super responsive. The flat is clean, cozy, and comfortable. It’s in a perfect location- within easy walking distance to restaurants, shops, and public transport. I highly, highly recommend staying here!

Mia’s place was perfect for us! Spacious, clean and very accessible to the train station to get into the core of Oslo (we even walked one day and it was a lovely 30 minute, low impact trek). The space itself is kept really well and had everything we needed. Check in and communication were both great

We rented the apartment for a weekend when we were going on an anniversary in the neighborhood. It is a big and nice apartment with a lot of daylight and all you need of equipment, just great! Sylvi responded quickly to my questions prior to arrival, easy check in and out. Recommend this apartment in a quiet and scenic area, we would love to come again :)

The location was perfect. We took a train cause it was faster than a car to arrived. The metro station was one minute walking closed to Xiaojun apartment. Also his apartment is closed to the sea. It was amazing how everything was so closed to his place. He gave us clear and helpful instructions on how to arrived and open his apartment. Thank you for everything.

We traveled with our 1.5 years old baby and it was perfect! The apartment is in a gated building, which felt very secure. There is a ramp at the entrance of the building, and the elevator was big enough for our compact stroller. The Host kindly had a travel cot ready for our kid and they also left a high chair. Another high chair was also available for older kids. There is an open wardrobe right at the entrance of the apartment that was great to leave the stroller and/or suitcases, so they were not in the way. The bathroom is very spacious and the water pressure was great! The apartment is super bright, which we loved! Both bedrooms have blackout blinds, and the mattress was comfortable. Communication with the Hosts was very good, always responsive, friendly and helpful. This is heir family home, so it has a lot of personal touches. We would love to come back!

We stayed in this apartment for around 6 months during 2024 whilst working in Oslo for some time. The apartment is very nice and had everything we needed. The large balcony with sea view was definitely a special feature, especially during the longer summer evenings. Located in a very nice suburban neighbourhood of the city, close to public transport connections to the city centre, and shops, local town centre. Morten and Metere are excellent hosts, very friendly and more than happy to help us with everything we asked for!
