We loved our stay. It was a beautiful place to relax during our travels.

To be honest, this is a little peace of heaven. It marked every part of my checklist. Great customer service, making sure that we were please with the amenities, communication was 300% a priority for them. And for that we are pleased. The groundskeeper Massimo was available if needed. Great guy. Have to say that we drove all around the tuscan region and more and we knew we had a safe place to go back. Thank you for everything, we will be back!!

This is forever a special place now. Gorgeous views, incredible history, & wonderful ppl. You won't regret staying here!! The kindness and hospitality are like no other! Filippo & Kate are exceptional hosts. Kate literally helped us FL ppl driving in Italy for the first time @ night & w/out much mountain parking exp, park our car! The gas line went dwn for just a few hrs, we had snacks so we were ok but Filippo, Kate and Graciella all made sure we were fed and taken care of the entire time! Filippo even bought us dinner for the few short hours of "inconvenience." Everyone went above & beyond to ensure we were taken care of and treated like family! Speaking of family, if you want to have a dinner like you wished your Mom/Grandma could still make for you, Graciella's dinner is worth every penny and then some. If you want a REAL Tuscan home cooked meal, get the dinner. Best food I'd had my whole trip which included Amsterdam, Paris, Davos CHE and Venice before prior to meeting her. ❣️

Very pleasant stay. Wonderful and cozy house, clean and tidy, with attention to detail, equipped with everything we needed. Gianna was helpful and very kind, both giving us valuable directions for our arrival and in the presentation of the house and the surroundings. We really appreciated the quiet location inside the wonderful olive grove. We will definitely be back for our next trips.

The stay in Il Castellare was a very positive and absolutely recommended experience! The apartment is perfect, equipped with every comfort, clean, very well heated and cozy. You can also light the fireplace with wood at your complete disposal. Gianna was very hospitable and kind, she also provided us with directions to places to dine that we really appreciated. The apartment is part of a farmhouse in a beautiful location, with a precious view and immersed in the peace of authentic nature. We arrived at night, with the full moon lighting up the street and we had no problem reaching the destination. Thank you Gianna!

A perfect Airbnb. Everything felt like home. I hope to stay there again

I had hard time writing this review because I felt I did not have words to do justice to overall experience. I felt at home and really welcomed. I was looking for a perfect place to escape from busyness of life, I found my escape at Antonella's place. It is located in greenest of the mountains you can find. There is nature everywhere. Although it is located right in the village, you see no neighbors, there are only mountains all around. Antonella's bigger house is right next, but she gives full privacy. Two lovely dogs live there, I did not ever hear them bark. Tranquility prevailed at all times. There are many things to do nearby and location is quite good for day trips to major cities of the region, such as Pisa/Lucca/Florence. House itself is very well equipped. There is everything you need. More can be found at village store. Or you can simply ask Antonella.

Giovanni was very welcoming and passionate about his beautiful place. He was extremely proactive with instructions and local suggestions. Giovanni made us feel at home and made our stay wonderful. Although the photos are beautifull but they definitely do not do it justice, to the actual breathtaking views and immaculately manicured grounds. We will definitely be returning in the future.

Absolutely breathtaking, what a shame we arrived so late and had to leave so early. it was a fantastic stay and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Great touches all around
