Beautiful, peaceful and quiet. Great for dogs as long as they are great with recall since it is not fenced in however my dogs enjoyed all the room the yard had to offer. Quiet, away from the busy city life and traffic but still close to food and amenities. Bathroom was super clean and updated. The room was clean and had a lot of closet space for storage of bags.

Kelly is an amazing host - I stayed in the cabin for two months to be near family during a sabbatical, and she was incredibly flexible and responsive to anything I asked. The main view from the cottage is gorgeous, and the area is secluded and peaceful. I took lots of walks around the property. All amenities are as advertised, heat and Internet worked very well. Weis grocery store is one of my favorite groceries in the area and it's a quick 5 minute drive away. I will definitely look into booking here again next time I'm in the area.

Ericka’s historic farm house is perfect for those that love vintage charm and privacy. The kitchen was fully stocked including snacks and coffee. Formal dining room and comfy TV couches that could sleep two more if needed. Bedrooms are up the 1800’s stairwell, so that may be a downside for those with bad knees. Otherwise the beds are comfortable with plenty of pillows etc. Great water pressure in the large upstairs shower (and we were happy to find there is another full bath on the first floor too). We spent time on the back porch BBQ’g and looking over the Koy ponds - and there is even feed available for both them and the massive catfish that live in the main pond. Peaceful grounds for sitting and reading, or if you like horses there are two that reside in the back fields / barn. And if you need a Christmas tree the owners have the tree farm down the road too. Overall a very freindly & accommodating family - thanks again for allowing us history lovers to wander too!
