We would like to welcome you to our sustainable and non-smoking bed and breakfast on the water! Apartment Grutto is located on the 1st floor and can accommodate up to 4 people, with living room/kitchen with sofa bed, separate bedroom and bathroom. The apartment is fully furnished and equipped with every comfort. There is sufficient parking space. Furthermore, we are easily accessible with public transportation (5 minutes walk). There is also a sandy beach on Lake Tjeukemeer within 5-minute walking distance.

Description Bed and breakfast In a Glasshouse is located in Oostwoud, in the heart of Westfriesland. It is a cottage-style home located behind our glass studio, in the deep waterfront garden. It can be rented as a B&B but also as a vacation home for a longer period. There is, among other things, a Grand Cafe De Post around the corner where you can eat delicious food and a pizza eatery Giovanni Midwoud that also delivers. A motorboat is available for a fee. This former garage has recently been completely transformed into a comfortable and cozy studio. You can enjoy cycling and walking nearby and the Frisian lake area is a 20 minute drive from here. Furthermore, the center of Heerenveen offers plenty of cozy terraces and bars.

Apart from the sounds of birds, the rustling of the wind and in the distance a tractor, you hear nothing at all here. The sunsets can be amazingly beautiful here.

The freely accessible bathroom is located in the annex (shared with us as hosts). Outside, a seating area awaits in the garden and – for those who really want to relax – a luxury Jacuzzi (optional: €40 first day, €20 per extra day). Welkom in ons unieke tiny house, verscholen in een privébos aan de rand van het charmante Friese dorp Noordwolde. Deze moderne accommodatie is ideaal voor rustzoekers en natuurliefhebbers.
