Vacation rentals with lake access in Old Forge

Carolin was a really responsive and friendly host. Well equipped kitchen and larger (very clean )house than we imagined. Well maintained home. Nice deck, private beach close by, kayaks. Would definitely stay again.

Where do I begin... I've stayed at numerous Airbnb properties, but this one stands out as one of the most beautiful settings I've encountered. The views of the lake are breathtaking, and having direct access to it was a huge bonus. We made full use of the canoes and kayaks provided, enjoying them every day. My husband, an avid fisherman, was thrilled with the lake, calling it one of the best freshwater fishing spots he's ever visited. The grounds are impeccably maintained and offer plenty of privacy. Inside, the house is both comfortable and well-appointed. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the pots, pans, utensils, and small appliances you could need. The beds are extremely comfortable, and the linens are of high quality. The furniture is tasteful and inviting. Karen was a wonderful host, easy to communicate with and responsive. My only regret is that we didn't stay longer. I would return in a heartbeat and recommend this place without hesitation.

We had a great time here, perfect for family get togethers. We had kids ranging 11-1 years and found it safe and functional (though we did bring our own gate for the stairs on the main floor). The place was clean and cozy. Would definitely stay again.

This is the second time we’ve stayed at the Winslow rental and we’d love to come back again. Peaceful location. Cozy cabin. Brett and Alicia are great hosts.

Tafari's place was an amazing place for my group of 11. The place was family friendly, stocked full of supplies, all rooms have tvs and the bathrooms and 2 kitchens were clean and perfect. Communication with Tafari was spot on and it was during a major Thanksgiving holiday. I can only imagine how much better the property will be when the summer rolls around where you can conveniently walk 2blks to the beach. I highly recommend the property and Tafari as a host!

The house was just a quick ride outside of town and very easy to find! Plenty of space for our family and we were able to enjoy a movie on the big screen downstairs! The kitchen was well stocked as well as towels and blankets so the kiddos could cuddle up near the fireplace! We will keep you on our list for future visits to Old Forge! Thank you The Russo Family!

Once again, camp Reminiscing did not disappoint!! This was our 4th time here for our annual guys weekend. The house was comfortable and large enough for us. The kitchen was well stocked, and we were able to make some great feasts! Watching football, euchre games, night time astrophotography, and walking the neighborhood were some of our activities. Rebecca is very accommodating. We arrived late first night, but she welcomed us with great enthusiasm and hospitality. She answered our texts promptly and provided clear communication. Would highly recommend anybody else to stay at this place!

We fell in love with this place! If you’re thinking about staying here- do it! You won’t regret it. This is the cutest little studio, right on a gorgeous lake. It feels so homey and had everything we needed for a cozy little weekend. Also, Lynne & John are the kindest, MOST gracious hosts. They made us breakfast one morning, left us banana bread & cookies & other snacks in our room, and they were just generally the sweetest people ever! They gave us tons of recommendations for fun things to do around town, too. The dock was so beautiful to sit and look at the lake in the mornings. We can’t say enough good things about this place & the hosts, and we really hope to come back again someday soon!💗

We stayed here for 4 days and it was amazing, it was clean, peaceful, the host have us clear instructions, the location was amazing…. Among other stuff! Had a blast.

What a wonderful experience! This AirBnB is perfect for some peaceful r&r. Nestled in the Village of Mayfield, this cozy cottage is a stone throw away from the Mayfield Grill' Mr. Pizza and Stewarts. Its full of beautiful interesting art in many mediums, so if you love art like me, its the place for you. Exceptionally clean and easily accessible. Alexandra was fantastic! She consistently reached out to make sure i didnt need anything and was comfortable. Shes super kind and takes great care to ensure a warm welcome. Im sad i didnt have time to tour her gallery, but it looks cool as heck from the outside. I will 1,000% be back to stay in the spring! Thanks Alexandra!

We had a very relaxing stay at Lenny abd Boka's place. The driveway was very icy but Lenny was out every morning to put sand around our car so we wouldn't slip and fall!

I had booked this with Tracy for my son, he had a very relaxing time there everything met his expectations he said everything was clean the only thing he had wished was that the windows had some type of blind or shade other than that everything was wonderful.

I stayed at Legacy Inlet with my wife and toddler, we had a great time at Amanda's place. absolutely loved the lake at backyard and firepit.

Beautiful views, clean, had everything we needed. Would have enjoyed lake more had the weather cooperated. Would definitely recommend.

The cottage was recently remodeled, everything was absolutely wonderful from the time we walked in until the time we left. We will most likely rent this property again.

We got to spend Thanksgiving together as a family in this beautiful place with our dog. Jennifer was helpful throughout our stay. I would absolutely recommend this for anyone who is looking for quiet and quaint getaway. Thanks again Jennifer.

Great location. Close to everything downtown has to offer. The house was spacious and we had a great stay.

Hands down one of the best airbnb stays and hosts! Wanted to spend my husband’s birthday at the Buddy shack and happened to mention that to Brandon before the stay. When we checked in, baked chocolate cake, ice cream, a gift bag, a birthday card and a beautiful handwritten note were waiting for us. Above and beyond doesn’t even begin to describe this gesture! And there are thoughtful touches around the house that made us feel right at home. Communication was excellent. Felt like I was chatting with a friend. Tried two restaurants that they recommended and both could give the NYC restaurants a run for their money! The property is beautiful. Enjoyed excellent weather and quiet time by the lake. Overall, I highly recommend the Buddy Shack. You will return with wonderful memories and a full heart!

An excellent stay with incredibly responsive hosts. Snowed while we were here and it was a winter wonderland. Kid friendly, quiet; a great place to reset.

The house is bigger than it looks in the pictures. Kitchen was well equipped for the basic cooking that we did. Great location for hiking - close to many trailheads. Must try the stuffed French toast and apple pie at Chef Darrell's!
