Monthly Rentals in Nystrand

We were allowed to spend four wonderful days with Katja and Stefan in Lapland, Sweden. The place is super cozy and offers everything you need. The Swedish oven heats up the space great and creates a pleasant atmosphere. The hosts give a lot of great tips, of which we were able to implement. They are always super friendly and never intrusive. Whether snowshoe hike, forest sauna under the stars, samic food, husky sledding tour, ride through the Swedish winter forest - everything was in! We were able to do a workshop on the production of Sami bracelets at Katja's. And on New Year's Eve, even the Northern Lights dance in full splendor over our heads. We didn't want to leave! Will definitely visit again. One of the best Airbnbs we've ever stayed. Clear recommendation! :)

Nice remote location by a lake. We stayed right after Christmas until January 4th and had a lovely time in a warm cabin and had the luck of seeing the northern lights on new years eve. If you come in the winter times be prepared for ice, snow, minus -25 Celsius and also transportation problems because of the climate, it was an adventure for sure ;) The kitchen is well prepped with accessoires and stuff you wouldnt expect in an AirBnB. That for that. A few chairs and things needs to replaced because they are well used, we liked the overall rustique decorations and the look of the interiour. Not for the faint vegan hearted as there is quite some taxing taxidermy on the wall :D The communication with the owners was very good and acommodating and we are thinking about returning some time in the future, possibly trying out the summer up there :)

The first days we traveled by bus, the stop is only 140 m from the beautifully located house. After a walk on the frozen sea, it was wonderful in the sauna in the house, and then enjoy the view of the chirping birds in one of the beautiful trees in front of the house. Doing shopping at the Coop 750 m away, try to read a Swedish book in the library next door and our last night out at the pizzeria 2 blocks away, for people like to drive around: it is super good! Hans is truly a great host, he is very convenient n helpful.Rosvik is the starting point to explore Norrbotten, the city of Luleå, beaches, forests, musea.My husband and I will be back.
