Vacation rentals in Nuku'alofa

Great place to stay! Good location, close to shops. Linda with her husband were very friendly.

There is not a lot of places in Tonga to stay. We came across the listing and thought it might be too far away from things. But after our stay and exploring the entire island I would say the location is perfect. You will need a car everywhere in Tonga also here. But you get to all places from here.

Its always an enjoyable stay at The Slope. Lata & Peter have always gone above and beyond to make my stay the best experience possible, hence why I keep going back. Unfortunately I had a miscommunication with my car rental company, turned up to The Slope earlier then check in via taxi, this was not at all an issue with Peter & Lata, they went above and beyond to contact the car rental company for me to rectify the situation and Peter even took me into town to get groceries. Highly recommend staying at The Slope.

We had a pleasant stay in this large comfortable house. The hosts were excellent, including letting us have a late check out when our flight was delayed. Nukulofa can be noisy (dogs, music) anyway but this place was in a “quieter” part of town. Would have been nice to be a little closer to town (walking distance).

Had a great 2 weeks staying in the cabin, within easy walking distance to the clinic we were volunteering at, and to town. Not 5 star but not advertised as such! Got used to the cold showers. Very friendly and hospitable hosts. The evening after we arrived Rae took us to a love beach for a snorkel and the sunset.

Perfect, Private and peaceful. It’s sits in a secluded spot free from glaring eyes when privacy is what you want while traveling. Has everything you need to stay comfortably during the hot days and the amenities to take care of laundry and personal needs.

This place is one of the best places to base yourself while on Tongatapu. Like all the reviews say, if its available... take it! Beautiful rural location surrounded by plantations and a great ocean view. A quick walk down to the coast where you can explore a local beach, blow holes and awesome rockpools. Keep an eye out for turtles mulching on the seaweed at high tide! Super friendly hosts, and plenty of space and kitchen tools to base yourself at the cabin and unwind for a few days after stocking up supplies at one of the produce stalls in town. Thanks Alaina!

Really nice modern interior! Easy 20 minute location into town for the markets, beach, and more restaurants although there are lots scattered on the side of the road too. Had some trouble finding the place initially however the locals were really helpful and pointed it out for us! Overall really nice place and really well priced compared to other accomodation in Tonga.
